I love coming here on my days off from my barista job. It’s nice to get my caffeine fix without mentally clocking in. Even though I could grab a free coffee made perfectly to my standard at work, I choose to come here to fully enjoy my day off. The lattes are consistently good, the seating is cozy, and it’s just a short walk from home. The baristas are friendly too!
Do not come here if you want to enjoy a good cup of coffee. My 5 year old makes better coffee than what’s offered here. Stopped by on Tuesday and I regret it. The coffee tastes burnt and baristas are not trained to properly froth the milk. My suggestion for the owners is to train and interview their staff before hiring. Also no one should ever give you coffee in a to go cup without asking for your preference if you are planning to sit down. Seattle needs a higher bar for coffee given its history. The atmosphere is nice but I will def never come back
It’s a nice coffee shop worth checking out, especially for a relaxing Sunday afternoon or anytime you want to unwind. They serve good coffee, and the service is excellent and welcoming.
This is my 2nd cup of coffee in less than an hour ago...since I only ordered ice americao I didn't think I have enough to write a review... ...until I took a sip of the Ice Americano. Maybe I am not really a good coffee drinker, or that I didn't know how to drink coffee properly - but the moment I took a sip, I can taste the aroma of the coffee, the favor of the bean used. Perhaps I am just an old guy and nowadays the quality of espresso are much better on average, but for me it's a rarity getting to actually taste the favor...even after I took a while to typing this review and then had another sip. P.S. Please forgive me for putting so much word between "taste" and "bean".
Basecamp Cafe is a nice place for your dose of coffee. They also offer beer, kombucha etc. along with some hot food options. It’s also a place for gear rentals for camping, kayaking, and more.
We walked by late afternoon and grabbed. Warm drink- turns out it was a seriously good coffee!! And we liked the vibe
Such a cool place. I went for their happy hour women’s happy hour meetup. I met amazing people and had great conversations. The place is so cool and filled with like minded people.
Such a cool neighborhood coffee place, where they organize several events and they even rent gear for camping, and other sports. Coffee is really good and a perfect blend of espresso and milk, it’s my 2nd time here and the best part is they’re open till 7.
Micheal and Tony are so warm & nice! Going the extra mile to be helpful, calling me by my name, smiling a lot. :-) This cafe has a friendly outdoorsy vibe and amazing lavender syrup!
Absolutely loved this spot! I tried their Ube Matcha and it was amazing. The flavor was perfectly balanced - not too sweet, super creamy, and totally unique. Such a cozy atmosphere too. A must-visit if you’re in Seattle with friends and want to hang out at a cozy outdoors-styled cafe!
