After Eversource went out of control with their rates, I reached out to Direct Energy. My electric bill is much lower since switching to Direct Energy as a provider. And terrific customer service!
They have been very informative at all times. I have had no problems with direct energy at any time. I would definitely recommend direct energy to others.
Since, I became a customer of Direct Energy, I have noticed that neighbor's around my area, informed me that their electric energy bills, were outrageous. Some, including my daughter and her husband were paying up to 30% more on their monthly invoices. in some cases up to 50% during winter months. I, informed them to contact Direct Energy, whether they do or not is up to them. I am staying with Direct Energy, even though I continue to receive information in the mail from energy competitors.
Customer Service always helpful and professional. I don't like the elimination of fixed rates but that is NYS's fault I was told. Why can't the industry lobby to have that option restored? In my apartment building coop we often can buy a Winter lock on oil so why cannot we do the same for individual gas and electricity supply service???
We have been subscribed to Direct Energy for a few years now. Don't be nervous to make the switch! The change and their service is seamless. No issues, just save $$
The overall value is what first drew me in to add Direct Energy to my utility. During the time since it has saved me quite a lot on my energy bill.
