We hosted a couple of friends here. We were in Phoenix for a convention. My wife had a glass of house Chardonnay and a Caesar salad. My friends and I had a pint of beer and a pasty. Everyone had a great time. A little loud atmosphere but we could hear each other. Only $100 for the four of us.

THE BEST CHIPS (FRIES)! As a British expat, I'm always happy to try a new British restaurant, so I had to try this one while visiting Phoenix. The pasty and gravy were authentic and delicious. The chips were some of the best I've had in a very long time, if not ever. The restaurant is large with an upper and lower level and patio dining. It has a pub-like feel. Use the QR to view the menu, but order through the waiter. (This isn't quite obvious, so a sign stating 'Order with the waitstaff' would make things more clear). There are a variety of pasty flavors to choose from. The bathrooms are completely graffitied -- I think they've chosen to make that part of the decor. Don't let them scare you off! I would visit again if we were in the Phoenix area. Please open in San Diego!

Sat outside - nice vibe. Bartender and servers work hard and attentive. The menu is definitely creative. Got the veggie Tim’s masala pastry and the tandoori wings. They were ok. Will need to visit again to try other items. Beer selection is solid.

Wow! I've been coming to this location and the Scottsdale location for years. I can't believe I've never left them a review. Anyway, I really enjoy Cornish and their food/beverage offerings. Their places always have great ambiance and are clean. My go-to is the Italian Signature Pasty. So delicious! The layers of pepperoni, salami, capocollo, ham, and fresh mozzarella are perfect. I always get an extra marinara sauce too for dipping. If I'm not getting the Italian, my other favorites include the Meatball, Pesto Chicken, and the Reuben. Honestly, just hard to go wrong with any of them I believe. As for the beverage selection, my go-to here is the Ace Pear Cider. Refreshing and simple. They have a great selection of other beverages though. Lastly, the service is always great. Thank you all! Note: Be advised, the downtown location has some minor construction happening on the first floor but the second floor is still fully open.

Vodka was my drink of the night while I checked out a few places. I stopped by and ordered Rosemary's Baby and love it. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem. Keep it in business. Nothing really else like it in az. It's in a great location in downtown. They have a great draft beer selection. The pastys some of them were a little different for my taste but I got the I think it was a pot pie one and it was really good. It's a cool place. Always seems to be active. A lot of energy in there.

For late night eats, this place is pretty sweet. Dim lighting and chill ambiance - people were playing pool and darts while others were relishing pasties (basically like a thick empanada or savory turnover-style pastry) or pounding beers. It’s cool that you can seat yourself and, even as a solo diner, I didn’t have to wait long to get my pasty. Was also cool that the menu had a long veg section and indian-inspired pasties - lamb vindaloo pasty was heat, will have to return sometime for the chicken tikka one.

Amazing meal. This was my first time here. I had the Cajun Chicken Pasty and it was out of this world. The dipping sauce on the side made it even better.

Great atmosphere, music, drinks and unique food with history. We can here twice on our trip to Phoenix just to have the Tandoori Curry wings! We split the lamb & Mint Pasty and it was fantastic (crust was perfect)! I didn’t get a pic of the Pasty but it was recommended by the bar tender and she was fantastic too!
