This is quite possibly one of our favorite places! The first reason is the awesome staff! Next is definitely the food!!! We split the French Dip Patsy and OMG!!! It's amazing. Very cool atmosphere, awesome people, and delicious food. Full bar and good beers. Can't wait to come back!
The best British food I tried in the US. The mushroom soup is great, distinctively British, their scotch eggs have a crunchy crust and a wonderful sage aroma, their pasty (kind of a calzone, I took the Indian flavor because the British adore Indian food made their way) has a wonderful light but crunchy pastry, very flavorful filling with just enough spices. Beats the Lion & Rose by a country mile. Sorry about the pics smelled so good that I dug in before thinking of taking pictures.
Fun place with a lot of character and great food. We sat upstairs at the bar and pool table area. Really great menu and lots of options for everybody. The pastry is just incredible and was the highlight for me. We had the vegetarian tiki masala and shepherds pie pasties. They were both excellent.

Love that they have a whole vegan and vegetarian menu. Super friendly service, open late, tons of pluses! When we arrived around 10:30pm they were sold out of all but one vegan option and several of the standard options which was a bummer. If you want to be sure to have full crack at the menu make sure you get there earlier in the day. The music is also LOUD but I’m probably just old. Sitting on the patio helps with the music noise level.
Came to this place on a Friday night and was not disappointed with the food, service, and atmosphere. We sat upstairs where we were amazed with the layout/design (brick wall, wooden beams, etc). Music was great, you were able to play pool, darts and of course eat and drink. Food items ordered were the signature pasties - which we were told were made as listed, no substitutions and are very popular so some food items were sold out for the day. We ordered the Cajun chicken and the royale with cheese - both of which were delicious. I had the Cajun chicken which I thought the crusty pasty on the outside was made just right and you could taste every ingredient in there. For me, the chipotle sauce is what stood out and was the kicker for the chicken Cajun altogether. Would definitely come back when in Phoenix again.
food is always 11/10, the coca cola is not that great compared to other restaurants, the bartender that took my order was not friendly at all , they need to do a deep cleaning around the bar area it smells weird , other than that I love their pasties they're the best
A MUST VISIT! Cornish always hits all the spots. They have a huge selection of pasty’s made in house perfect for a date night or take out. Service is always solid and the vibe is lay back pub. Absolutely recommend. Get the Cajun chicken or roast beef!
So, I was a little skeptical at first. But was willing to give it a try! I’m really happy that I did. The food was very tasty and fresh. I will say the service was a little slow, however. Granted they were busy, but it seemed to take a while. I tried the turkey and stuffing pasty and then I even had dessert. A chocolate bread pudding. Would definitely check it out again next time I’m in Phoenix
I absolutely love this place! Great food and drinks! Awesome atmosphere and good service! They have a basement and upstairs with a bar, pool tables and crazy interesting bathrooms. Highly recommend a Pasty and a beer here!
