I was sent to Concentra Urgent Care to receive a physical to start my new job. On my first visit I completed the actual physical, but was told that I wouldn’t be cleared till I got my results back on a sleep study that I was about to have. I call after I received the results to see how I could send them to their location. They tell me to just bring them in person because I will have to sign papers anyway. I show up, with my results, and they tell me they need clearance to work from my doctor who performed the sleep study. I wait on hold for just over 30 minutes outside their office to leave a message with my doctor for him to send it. About 2 hours later I get the letter so I go into their office again. They have me wait for 20 minutes in the waiting room, 10 minutes in the medical room just to tell me they need it to specifically say “without any restrictions” and ask if I can call him back and ask him to send the new letter. I’m livid at this point, explaining to them again that I have to take the bus, and that I already had to kill two hours nearby, because I didn’t want to take the bus all the home and then back again just to sign when everything is completed. I head home and return the next week, I email them the new forms and everything is in order, only to find out I didn’t even need to sign anything. I didn’t have to physically show up, I could have just emailed them. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Not once did they apologize for making me waste so much time and for preventing me from starting my job sooner. I would give zero stars if possible.
7 plus months going here 5 to 6 different doctors and no one has addressed my pain. Im starting to wonder if these doctors even care about there jobs
They did not even saw my eye to determine its okay
Not a procedure I was looking forward to but from the time I walked into the door, Maya put me at ease while Gabby and Andrea took good care of me.
Came in for a TB Test and the nurse who took me was so adamant to get me out of the door as quick as possible. I asked for reassurance that any time on Monday would be okay to get the results, once I come back Monday they said I was too late and have to redo the whole process over. Big waste of time.
Had a job physical. The MA could not get my blood pressure. She took it on both upper arms, lower arms and then finally manually after I requested. She thought I had high blood pressure. I’ve never had high blood pressures, actually low. Just not happy with service
The staff was very helpful and efficient. I was in and out of there fast.
Waited 3-4 hrs for a drug screen and physical. Held my bladder all this time for the lady to say that the person who does Urine DS wasn't here. Then she asks me to remove a super small cropped jacket withno pockets (when I had a slinky tshirt under!) Bc apparently I could be hiding something under, but the guy w baggy sweat pants and 7 pockets didn't need to empty his pockets. When I questioned the jacket (bc of over exposure!) She decides to get all technical w "policies" (if they are policies, everyone should follow them!! And not just pick a random visit to choose and follow them!) and gets defensive bc I questioned the jacket when I even said she could pad me down. (Some things are policy but common sense, sometimes, isnt!) Then she asks me to fill out my papers AGAIN bc the papers I had received were the wrong papers and their system wouldnt upload them. The NP that assisted me (on a positive note!) Was super amazing, friendly, and pleasant. She recently relocated from UT! Amazing encounter. Thank you for making my visit better! You get 5 stars.
