Concentra Urgent Care

These people do not care and do not listen. I had to go 4 times for a basic physical because the either forgot to do a test or because I was so frustrated my blood pressure was 6 points too high to pass me (on my 3rd visit when they refused to listen to what I needed). Some of the nurses were great, reception as well.

Worst experience ever! I arrived at 9:15am as a walk in, so I didn't expect to be seen right away. What I didn't realize was that I'd wait in the exam room for almost 2 hours, only to be seen by the doctor for maybe 2-3 minutes. The doctor would not listen to any of my concerns and cut me off multiple times to speak over me. I left feeling worst then when I started. If being in pain isn't bad enough, now I also feel gaslit, unheard and unseen. One positive to all these negatives is the physical therapy department. They did what they could to validate me and the pain I'm experiencing. Thank you Gail for your kind words and assistance. I wish more doctors came stock with your compassion.

It was a great experience from the check in to the lab works. I forgot the phlebotomist name but her performance was outstanding: very professional, kind, positive; she made me very comfortable and I didn’t feel the needle at all when she was drawing the blood.

First time patient with Concentra, and the experience went well. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, workers were very nice and helpful. And the Dr was amazing and super friendly! Thank you Concentra

this place is absolutely horrible. if you can avoid this place at all cost. I got hurt at work so I didn’t have a choice. but learn from me. Here are a few examples of issues: 1. Always a long wait no matter what. 2. They do not answer the phone. Especially physical therapy. 3. They will say they will leave a message and call you back. They never will. 4. They canceled an appointment on me. Didn’t notify me. And acted like I was crazy for being there. 5. I NEVER GOT ANY PRE-OP or POST-OP instructions. And when I asked for them it took 3 days to get a response. And they asked me if I had surgery on my shoulder. (It’s my knee) 6. Took an additional 3 weeks just to get scheduled for surgery (I’m out of work) after being approved from workers comp. There is more but you get the point. Concentra does not care about your care or you as a person. I could not believe they can conduct themselves in this way.

it seems like every time we go to Concentra I always have an issue in 2022. I was sent to do a back to work physical and for no reason my blood pressure was high when I had just been released by my doctor to go back to work being on leave I still had to go through my doctor to evaluate me and release me back to work and my blood pressure was fine but when I got to Concentra to do a back to work physical for my job, my heart rate was high according to Their equipment. Last Friday I went for a human evaluation performance test again something my job is now requiring, and they had the wrong list of procedures for this test. The staff was not completely trained on our new test for work and there’s always some kind of miscommunication. so because they had the wrong list of procedures, they started me automatically lifting a certain amount of weight which was like 40 pounds and I had to repeat it five times and then they wanted me to live 75 pounds which was way too much for me I’m a driver a shuttle driver. I’m not a warehouse worker so when I went and got my copy of the list, the healthcare worker was. She didn’t have that List why wasn’t she trained? Why didn’t she have the right check off list to follow? I started off on the wrong foot. I wasted my strength and my energy doing the procedure in properly to start with and then I have to go back and redo the procedure which made me do double the work

Did not wait long after arrival, staff had great attitude

I first went into the clinic on September 11 and I was treated by nurse practitioner Edwin. I waited two hours to get in to see the doctor and she was very nice. She’s very thorough. She apologized for me having to wait so long she actually skipped her lunch to come in and treat me because when I went into the room, there were several people out in the area right outside the rooms, but when I left from seeing her, there was one person there, she treated Suspected something me for strep throat which was surprising to me. I did have that but yes, she was very professional, caring & sincere,Then I had to go back to the Urgent Care three weeks later.on Sept 27. She remembered me! I had a really really bad cough and eye infection and again was treated by her and received antibiotics and some drops for my eyes and she was very professional & Thorough, explained everything to me treated me like a human being with respect, truly listened to me-and I joked and said to her oh I hope you get your lunch today and she just kind of smiled, but I am going to probably request her if I ever have to go back to Urgent Care again which I’m sure I will because I get sick from taking care of my sick grandbabies and grandchildren so hopefully it will get better as soon as they get older but yeah, I would recommend seeing her , anytime you go in there I’m not happy with the time I had to wait. Don’t It seem to be a lot of people working there, but it didn’t seem to fit the ratio of how many people were in the waiting room versus how long you had to wait to see a doctor. Military

I was there for a tb test and the staff was so friendly an kind, and the girl that did my test was so understanding and had a chill vibe. She made me feel comfortable and did so well with keeping me calm, even with my fear of needles even though I got a tattoo on my left arm 😂.

Front desk service Lack of greeting or acknowledgement upon arrival, no direction on expected next steps. Unprofessional behavior- personal conversations taking precedence over patient interaction. Excessive wait times: waiting nearly 90 minutes to see a Dr. , an Additional 30 minutes to get assistance in Pysical Therapy area, my experience: Lack of professionalism and empathy from PT tech. Gail. Gails comment about me being "probably tired from waiting so long" came across as dismissisive. Rushing through evaluation & excersizes, even after I expressed concern of her not letting me finish each excersize and trying to rush through. Incomplete instruction: asked to do 3 sets but not given time or tools (like bands) to do so properly. Being told to use improvised items at home instead of being provided proper rehab tools reflects poorly on patient care
