Avis Car Rental

Avis is the only rental company i use and this location is awesome and easy to get to and Mr.Ben the manager is Great very nice and always gives good services to customers. They have earned my loyalty.

David went above and beyond as he came in when closed to get my car. Never go anywhere else!!!!! Owners are awesome 🤩!!! Great prices

I am beyond frustrated but first I want to say the representative at the physical location on 222 East third street Charlotte nc was very helpful and nice when renting my car Mr. Ben went above and beyond and made my day better as I was just venting to him about loosing my little brother due to covid. However I needed to extend my rental date because my car is still in the shop getting fixed and just thinking it would be a simple call I get put through to the sales customer service line where they are liars unprofessional and lack communication skills I was hung up on provided incorrect numbers told there was nothing they could do to help assist and that I would just have to leave work and go to the location which is an inconvenience. I spoke to 10 different uneducated representatives who lack knowledge of their job and need to be put back through training if they ever had any and escalated the call up to 3 mangers and the last one told me he had made the extension and I would receive and email confirmation but me knowing how unprofessional this company has been I decided to call back and the representative didn’t see anything on file he even gave me a case number so somehow I was disconnected again called back ask to speak to a manger the representative did not want to transfer me so he then said he would so a representative came on line and asked me my information all over again (which was frustrating)as I’m talking to him explaining my problem he says I’m not no manger so I said I was told I was speaking with a manger and he says well I’m not and when I asked him to transfer me he began to get loud and say there’s nothing they can do at this point I’m irritate. I stated sir I don’t want to talk to you escalate the call he then starts talking fast then hangs up on me I pray they have quality assurance who review these calls because it was an horrible experience poor just so unprofessional and now I’m here at work may be penalized since my rental date says return at 12:30 and I have been trying to get this issue resolved since 10:00am. Also not to mentioned when calling to make my reservation on the customer service line I was told places had cars then I would get a call back from the pysical location saying they didn’t this happened 3 times before even getting a car I do understand it’s covid and their business may be sinking but can we just have the stores and the customer service line be on one accord I have a lot more but I have work to do I’ll be writing another review to let you all know the outcome ... this sucks this is my first time writing a bad review on anyone I hate doing this but I hope my voice is heard!

I frequently rent from Avis and in Charlotte this is the location who serves the best. The staff at this location are simply awesome. Yeah its a small rental center with a very limited inventory. But they do their best everytime i rented here.

Staff not friendly. Over charged .after Enquiry I came to know that they charged $70 for cleaning the car. I handed over the car in exactly the same condition as I received. Customer care said that it is location base charge and they can’t help with it. STAY away from AVIS.

Although this facility was a little bit difficult to locate from the street it was definitely worth going. The staff was friendly and service was quick. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Once I knew where to go, returning the car was even easier! Thanks Avis!

Worst experience ever. The manager Veronica were so unprofessional and rude. They denied giving me a rental after charging my card for the wrong amount and not fixing it because they wanted to go home. I will never rent from here ever again. When mentioned I will report this to Avis and she mentioned “I don’t work for Avis, I do what I want”

Be prepared to be yelled at by owner and flicked off. The owner, Ben, treats customers worse than trash. I called 4 times to get a 4WD and after wasting hours of my time, found there was no 4WD available - at least none that could activate 4WD on.

I’d give Veronica 10-Stars if I could. I watched her professionally take care of each of her customers! Her infectious smile made my whole day! Thank you again for your gold star ⭐️ customer service!

David is the best face for this place & demonstrates excellent customer service and for that I will be referring people as well as coming back..thank you David for all you do.
