Had Astrawatt remove and then reinstall Solar panels from hail damage on roof . Large crew did both jobs in one day each.People are knowledgeable and courteous. Office staff helped with paperwork for insurance . Worked with roofing company to minimize down time . Couldn’t ask for much more . Thank you

Great experience with my solar, battery backup and SPAN panel installation by AstraWatt. On time, on schedule, and a clean tidy install. They worked with me extensively to plan and bid the work and all work was completed as scheduled. Very knowledgeable crews. Highly recommend.

Great company, great service! From the start, they were very easy to work with. Rhody was very passionate in his sales. They took care of the back work incredibly efficiently, and was there with assistance on all parts including tree trimming and financing partners. They were professional in all the correct ways. They are a nice mix of a modern, small business, with dedicated employees with the stability of a traditional company. The installation team was experienced and family oriented. They were so kind to our eight year old who wanted to see everything. Kudos from top to bottom.

Newer Update (2/15/25): Communication is just completely nonexistent honestly. If you're trying to maintain your own system, you're better off working with the manufacturer and trying to find a YouTube video of how to do it yourself. UPDATE: Finally got a tech out (appreciate you Tim) and the issue seems to be the Enphase gateway. I've verified with the power company that I am still outputting power so this is the best case hardware failure. Just metrics and data messed up but still performing. Bryan Binkholder is my favorite person at Astrawatt. When I was interviewing installers, he answered my questions and actually educated me as opposed to just trying to push an install as fast as possible. He made me sure of my decision and is the best communicator I've met there. That being said, in my experience the company Astrawatt needs to get better procedures regarding at least customer communication. Tim was able to convey they are currently quite behind on a few projects, but that hadn't been mentioned before in the month prior to me trying to get someone out here. I think you could get a lot more patience and understanding if you take the 5min to talk to someone and say "hey this is where your situation is, this is where our current status is, sorry we're running behind, we will be with you as quickly as we can." Tim also mentioned I could've potentially contacted Enphase and tried to troubleshoot it myself. Again, not something anyone mentioned in the previous month. It had crossed my mind, but I was concerned with how that would interact with my warranty. Something was wrong with the system, so I wanted to go to the people who were providing that warranty. TLDR: Company mostly good. Bryan Binkholder good. Sometimes needs better communication skills/practices. Original review: Been trying to get my Astrawatt solar setup fixed for a month. Minimum, the monitoring is broken which means statistics and data for this year are completely hosed, at worst it's not outputting power either. Can't tell, and can't get my warrantied system repaired. Will update this if I hear anything back but all I can get lately for communication is it's waiting on one or two people.

My panels are officially ON and I am HAPPY. I shopped through many companies and Rhody at Astrawatt stood out the most. He helped me understand the other bids I got and even found many errors in them. Besides being the most knowledgeable, his pricing was very fair. Megan- the project manager is a great communicator and the installation process was smooth and fast. There are many roofing companies dabbling in the solar business and I found that their prices were the absolute highest and they knew the least about the equipment they were selling. They also didn't seem to have a very good plan for service/maintenance on the panels or it was done through a 3rd party. I really like that astrawatt is local and services their own work with a 25 year warranty. With the new forced Evergy plans it finally made perfect sense for me to make the switch. I am paying less for my panels every month than what evergy wants to charge me for a flat rate and my offset from the panels so far even in the winter has been very impressive. I cannot wait for summer to see what these babies can really do! Thank you Rhody and the astrawatt team!!!

We selected AstraWatt for solar panels installation after interviewing 4 companies. Rhody showed a lot of professionalism and detailed explanation like no one in other companies. He was patient with a lot of questions we had and offered very good deal. After we signed up, process was taken by Megan and she handheld the project feeding us with updates on City, Evergy approvals and providing constant communication. Since we expanded our project, Keith (Founder and CEO) got involved and was very helpful offering very good guidance. I cannot say anything, but Astrawatt is a company to go if you consider solar panels for your house/business. Since they are managing so many projects and solar industry is booming be patient if you don’t have answer on email within 24 hours. It's worth the wait to have assurance your project will be taken care of by very professional company. A+

Great installation staff, terrific communication throughout the installation. Top notch materials and a thorough explanation of the Solar Panels and the switches. Final inspection now approved by the City. Now just awaiting Evergy installation of the new meters and we will be good to go! Thanks Astrawatt Solar.

I started my research regarding household solar solutions a few months back. I was impressed with Rising Sun early on in the process. Keith was willing to work with our schedule to help us understand more about solar and the process of installation. Throughout the process of decision making, surveying, and installation Keith and the staff at Rising Sun have been helpful and patient with our questions. The installation process took 2 days to complete (excluding time for permits and inspections) and once it was completed I was impressed with the neatness of the work completed. From the panels, conduit and labeling of the electrical panels, all was professionally done. In short I would recommend Rising Sun for installation. They have been professional and courteous throughout the entire process.

Before selecting RisingSun EPC to do our solar installation, I had interviewed and received several other quotes from larger companies in the Kansas City area. I decided to go with RisingSun because of their expertise and thoroughness in quoting and designing our system. They did a detailed analysis of our energy usage to make sure to size the system right for our usage (a very important detail!). Their price was also extremely competitive. The installation of the system was flawless. They did a professional job with attention to every little detail to ensure it was perfect. The installation took about a week and they kept me informed each day about was was being done. Our system is now up and running and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Keith, Sabrina, and the whole installation crew were outstanding. They always did exactly what they promised and were fantastic to deal with. I would highly recommend RisingSun to anyone thinking about installing a solar system.

Whether you already have solar OR are thinking about installing panels. Our panels are 11 years old, and I’ve needed to call them twice. This company, ESPECIALLY Adam Houp is awesome.
