American Medical ID

Very happy with my titanium dog tag, but would have preferred a longer chain. At the time of purchase, only one size was available (I see that's changed now). Had to switch from the stainless steel tag and chain because of an intolerance to the stainless. I highly recommend having a medical alert of some type if you have medical conditions. I was knocked out after a rear-end collision on the freeway and the paramedics saw and responded to my tag.

I like the product I ordered, but do not like the fact that you included the warrantee and the wallet card in the price which I did not want or order! I could not find a way to delete these 2 additional costs on line and called the company to request a refund of these added unwanted costs.

The first I.D. bracelet I bought is all metal. It is attractive, but the latch is very difficult to latch and unlatch. The second bracelet I bought has a leather band. It is stylish, and I receive many compliments. However, the slide closure leaves two strings hanging awkwardly. I have been tying the two strings into a bow so that they don't dangle awkwardly. Now, one of the strings has frayed and broken. I will have it replaced at a local shoe repair shop using a leather string. Hopefully, this will be a significant improvement to the original design.

My husband received his new ID bracelet yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised of the high quality. We replaced his old bracelet that was smaller and this one handled all the information that he needed since it had to state that he had a stem cell transplant and needed irradated blood if a tranfusion is needed. It is comforting to know that an emergency he will be given the correct treatment.

I had bought a paracord bracelet and the paracord broke and we wondered why because obviously paracord can’t just break without actually cutting it. Upon further inspection, you could tell they they just glued two pieces of paracord together where it broke. This bracelet didn’t even last a week. I bought the warranty which was pretty much pointless because they told me I can’t get refunded or a replacement because it is engraved. Well of course it is engraved that’s the whole point of your website. Seconding the quality of the engravement is really bad. It is very shallow and then just after the week of wearing the metal scratches very easily and you can hardly see why he is even having to wear a medical bracelet to begin with. The do not care about there veteran customers. You’re better off going to amazon and getting one at 1/4th the cost. Just because they are more expensive on American Medical ID does not mean they are good quality bracelet. GO ELSEWHERE, BAD QUALITY!

I love this sit and the bracelet.. this is my second purchase do to a new allergic reaction to medication and food. I order my mom one for her allergic reaction to medications for mothers day. It's a great idea and helps doctors and ambulances no your allergies. Always will be a returning customer...

I have tried several local places near my home in Pennsylvania to get a medical ID bracelet. But nothing is available. AND the VA has stopped giving them to veterans. Thanks to Rite Aid, this is the first time I have done business with American Medical ID. And this is the first time I knew I could get a very much needed emergency medical card (since I have several medical issues) , and just have "SEE WALLET CARD" engraved on the bracelet, a REAL LIFE SAVER! The polished, high quality stainless steel, expandable band (thank God I am not allergic to metal on my skin) AND being waterproof, is WELL worth the cost! THANK YOU AMERICAN MEDICAL ID!

Love love love my bracelet. Very pretty. I like my bracelets loose so 7.5 inches is ok for me . Only improvement I would suggest is having a safety latch added just in case the clasp breaks.

The ID tag seems smaller than expected. It is not going to attract the attention of EMTs. The red paint on the caduceus seems scratched. The links attaching the bracelet to the tag are flimsy. The engraving is well done, but the bracelet is incredibly cheap. I am so sorry I wasted money buying this and having it rushed and shipped priority...
