American Medical ID

My ID was shipped really quickly and it arrived earlier than the estimated arrival date which was nice. It's engraved correctly and is very pretty, thankfully, since it's something I have to wear everyday. My only issue is that the bracelet is slightly big on me, but I'll either wear it loose and get used to it or take it to a jeweler and get it resized. I definitely would recommend them to anyone who needs a medical ID.

Excellent product. Received earlier than expected. Titanium dog tag necklace has a Matt finish, engraving is clear and deep. Should last a while. Clasp on dog chain may give trouble later but is doing fine. Item is as described and is of good quality. I would order again.

We ordered two types of ID bracelets and the heavier band was too difficult to fasten with the thicker band. The other bracelet had inter changeable bands that wee thinner and that worked well. I think if we had ordered a longer band it would have been too loose and easier for a patient to remove. These are simple and very effective as well as good value for the price paid.

This was an extremely disappointing experience. Imagine our surprise to find out that our 25 year old daughter's heart was pausing for up to 24 seconds at a time due to seizures in her left temporal area and that she would not be leaving the hospital without a pacemaker. Then, we thought we were ordering a bracelet for her from a reputable company which would give us peace of mind during this transition. Sadly, we were wrong. We ordered the bracelet and when we received it you could not even make out the phone numbers. It said that it would fit onto her Fit Bit charge bracelet...it did not. When I called I was told that I could just take pliers and open up the slide a little to "make it fit". I said I wanted to return it for a refund. Never was I told there would be a 20% fee to return it and I never received an email with instructions on how to return it. I waited a week and then had to call customer service again. The next person (Juan) I talked to was very apologetic and said that I would get an email with a label to return the defective/poor workmanship bracelet. I never received that email and had to call again 4 days (weekend) later. Finally, I spoke to another person (Cynthia) who said she would send me an email with a label and that I could return it for a redo. I said I did not want another one and she said that she would have to put me on hold. Finally, I was told that I could return it and that they would refund it minus 20%. A $56.23 item that was illegible and didn't even fit the Fit Bit charge it should have fit is not fully refundable. Buyer beware. We will get $44.98 back to buy another product from a better company and I guess that's better than no refund...right? You decide. Does it matter to you? It certainly did to us.

I found it easy to design my new bracelet. The layout appeared on the screen and I ordered what I wanted. Looks nice, looking forward to receipt in one week. Very fast production leaves my a happy recipient.

I have bought several bracelets and a necklace from these guys and have always been treated superbly. One bracelet I ordered was too small (I have large wrists) and after I called to see what my options were, they sent me a more expensive bracelet that would fit at no added charge to me! In a world where customer service is dying, American Medical ID still shows appreciation for their customers. I recommend them every chance I get and will continue to do business with them for all my medical ID needs. Thank you Am Med!

I received my Medical ID bracelet this morning and by 5 hours later, it was already scratched on the face and turning colors. I know this is "gold-filled", but I have never had a gold-filled piece turn colors immediately, especially when you spend over $100 on the piece. I am not happy and would not recommend this. Very disappointed. 11/22/19: I was contacted my Lauren, who was very nice. They agreed to allow me to return the bracelet, but they would only refund the cost of the bracelet, not the entire amount that I paid for it. Which I was not happy with, but I wanted some money back so I could go back to the previous company I was using for my medical ID bracelets. Unfortunately, I still would not recommend this company.

Reviewing and ordering items from the site is very easy. The products are very nice and last. I work on heavy equipment and the ID has held up very nice. The one time I ordered the wrong size replace bands I had no problem returning the bands and getting the right size

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a medical bracelet. They provide a large selection of metals including sterling silver. I also really love how they offer a medical wallet card too because the more info I can give medical personnel the better. They had different sizes to select from so I was confident when selecting the S/M (5"-7") cuff size that it would fit, and it does! The medical info engraved on the bracelet is legible, readable, and discrete too. I am so glad I chose American Medical ID.

Bought a Bracelet and “Dog Tag” on 3/6/26. The Dog Tag was fine, but the Bracelet was physically defective and unwearable. Day after day of emailing and being ignored finally yielded an email on 3/31/26 saying, “You can return it and we will refund you the cost of the ID.” I returned the Bracelet on 4/2/26 via USPS Ground with Tracking, which was delivered on 4/6/26. After yet more emailing and being ignored, on 4/9/26, they finally acknowledged and promised, “We have checked on our records that we have received it today and a refund has also been requested to be processed. For your reference, the refund order number is 5196788. Please allow a few more days for the refund processed to be completed.” As of 4/15/26, they still hadn’t issued the refund. On the same day, I made a final written demand. They ignored it. So now, I’m taking certain steps.
