Dr. Kenyatta Collins was so amazing. She made me feel safe, comfortable during an uncomfortable procedure (a pap), and answered all my questions without skipping a beat. I will be going out of my way to see her for future appointments. Can’t recommend enough!
Had my first appointment and frankly > am appalled. I got a $400 bill for something that usually as a diabetic, type 2, all I pay is my co-pay. No wonder they did not ask for a co-pay when I went. They do not have to worry about me anymore. I have to file a complaint on Monday with the business and my insurance company. This work is no different than I have ever done and even with insurance changes I have never seen a bill like this.
Went for a follow up appointment and the front desk receptionist refused to let me into my appointment because I was 3 mins late beyond their “grace period” Which was not expressed prior to my appointment .. She claims the appointment was only going to be 15 mins, which would’ve given a 5 minute grace period but 30 minute appointments get a 10 minute grace period. I asked , how was I supposed to know the appointment length if that’s internal info and it says that NO WHERE on my appointment info and my first visit I was told a different grace period.. The office was literally EMPTY, not one person was waiting. And she turned me away. This was my second time going to this office and this experience alone has turned me off from going here any further.
OMGosh… the lovely Anne was amazing. She was very peaceful, attentive, and knowledgeable! Her presence speaks volumes. I’m thankful!
The staff is AMAZING. I recently moved from Vermont and was nervous to go to a new doctor but I felt welcomed immediately as I walked in the door. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend.
Would not come here if they schedule you with RACHEAL DANIELS, MD. I’m on controlled medication so when I went here a week ago they did drug testing & paperwork for me to get the medication. Then around the time of my appointment, I get a call saying it has to be in person (it didn’t) & that I need to reschedule. I told them I already did the in person requirements & to please let me know what I need to do because I live nearby. Then they went ahead to see me & I stayed on the telehealth call for ONE HOUR waiting on her & she hangs up & cancels my appointment due to a “web issue” after I said I live less than 5 minutes away & to call me. Apparently her wanting to go home is more important than a patient needing medication I’m already diagnosed for. Location was convenient for me but I won’t be back.
I walk the beltline daily and walked to this urgent care since the ER referrals I was given was not contacting me back. Kenyatta Collins was so professional and clean she explained wound care thoroughly and her and the staff was very friendly and it was a very clean place of business. Thank you all
While I’ve consistently had positive experiences with Dr. Daniels, my interactions with the front desk staff have been disappointing and concerning. I had a follow-up appointment today and arrived about 11 minutes late due to multiple road closures in my area. When I walked in, I was not greeted; instead, I heard someone named Brie immediately tell another staff member, “She’s late, mark her as late.” This happened without any acknowledgment or conversation, which felt abrupt and unwelcoming. I apologized for being late, and the front desk explained that there is now a 5-minute grace period for 15-minute appointments. While I understand the need for policies, this felt overly strict, especially for midweek appointments when many patients like myself, are trying to fit care in around work schedules. I was then asked to take a seat and waited for over 25 minutes without any update. When I returned to the desk to ask about the status of my appointment, I was told the providers were on lunch break. To be clear, I fully understand and respect the importance of staff lunch breaks, and I had no issue with them taking that time. What was upsetting was the lack of communication—had I been told upfront that my 10-minute lateness would result in a 45-minute to one-hour wait due to the lunch break, I could have made an informed decision about whether to stay or reschedule. Additionally, I later learned that there is a $40 fee for appointments scheduled after 5 p.m. or on weekends. This was never communicated to me in advance and only became apparent once I received my bill. Unexpected charges like this, combined with limited transparency around policies, make it difficult to feel confident and trusting as a patient. Between the lack of clear communication, unexpected fees, and the dismissive tone I experienced at the front desk, I can understand why this clinic’s Yelp rating is under three stars. While the medical care itself has been good, the administrative experience leaves a lot to be desired. Doctors’ offices are places patients go when they are often feeling vulnerable, anxious, or unwell. Because of that, I would expect the staff working there to approach patients with empathy, respect, and grace. This isn’t a passport agency—it’s a healthcare setting, and how patients are treated, especially at the front desk, truly matters.
scheduled for a physical, got by blood drawn, and did a urine sample and was in and out in about 1hr! the front desk was sooooo sweet and had the best attitude. NP Nya had the sweetest heart and wasn’t just spewing off questions but genuinely trying to get to know me as a person! if i wasn’t leaving Georgia i would definitely pick this place as my primary care provider. thank you for the great visit!!
Dr. Wellons is an awesome doctor and I highly recommend her for your primary care needs. She was thorough and willing to see me as a person and not just a number.
