Phenomenal. It's Sunday and I was looking for someone who could move a button on my expensive but too big jeans. It sounds simple but most places were unable to do it and they did it perfectly and so fast ! Highly recommend! Will bring all my tailoring and dry cleaning here going forward
The best tailor around!! I came here for a work trip and needed my suit pants hemmed quickly. I dropped my pants off with Alba and he had them done in less than a few hours!! I walked around a little bit and by the time I was done, he was finished with the pants. Beautiful job done, seriously affordable prices ($20 for a pair of suit pants with same day turnaround is WILD), and the sweetest, kindest tailor you could possibly meet. 5 stars aren’t enough!!
The person who answered the phone (a man) was rude and unprofessional. This was a call made on Saturday at 4:30. The owner should be aware of the level of service being provided
One of the best dry cleaners that’s also open on Sundays. I’ve never owned a suit before so I figured I throw it in the wash on delicate cycle and let it air dry. Bad idea. It nearly destroyed my suit jacket. Within the hour I caught the train to Alba’s with my wet suit jackets and handed over the mess to him. The next morning I can exactly at 7am to check if my suits were still in tack. Low behold my suit jackets came out in pristine condition. They really take pride in the work they do. I am so grateful and now everything goes to Alba’s. They take care of your clothes like it’s theirs. Thank you!
Love this place! Have been coming here for some time now. They do great alterations (took in a pair of pants and fixed a pair of shorts) and their dry cleaning services are very reliable. Very friendly service. It's a little out of the way for me, but it's worth the extra effort.
Flawless, fast service. I’m traveling through town on a business trip, NYC was more humid than expected, and all I packed were sweaters. Alba was a great location to help with a fast turn around on laundering. If I were local, I’d use them for everything.
Horrible. I left a 5 star review before because it was before they lost my blouse. Thankfully, it was a Zara blouse and not one of my designer clothes. I had to delete my 5 star review. Every good comment says “Lumi is nice,” which is not what I thought even when I left a 5 star review. He is rude and rushes you. If he hadn’t rushed me, he wouldn’t have lost one of the 7 blouses I dropped off for cleaning. I don’t care how busy he may appear to some; professionalism is still in demand when running a business. I live in fidi so I was looking for something in fidi. My friend told me about Ann Dry Cleaner and wow they are amazing!!!! So if you’re looking for a good dry cleaner with fast service (free pick up as well), go to Ann Dry Cleaner. But if you want a rushed customer service with rude attitude and lies, stick with Alba Dry Cleaners.
Fast service and incredibly kind owner. I was nearby when a button popped off my blouse. When I visited, they were clearly busy with customers but helped fix it right away, refusing any payment/tip. Their honesty and generosity truly stood out in current times. Wishing this business continued success!
thank you so much to lumi and his team, i got red dye #40 all over my favorite cream sweater and not only did they get all the stains out my sweater looks brand new and the price was beyond affordable he also guaranteed i would not have to pay if for some reason they couldn’t get the stains out. i also expected it to take a while but he had it ready for me within days, i wish i lived closer so i could go to alba cleaners for all my dry cleaning needs!!
First time doing my dry cleaning here. I dropped it off on Tuesday it was ready next day. Great customer service and from what I’ve seen from the people who walked in the owner is well liked. Definitely would recommend!! Ill definitely be back
