I will never work with this law firm again. I had hired this firm for and eviction case back in August 2022. The apartment I stayed in with my brother at the time was originally his apartment. He passed away in 2021 then I let the acting landlord know that my brother had passed away and I would start paying him rent. I never had a written agreement or a lease that stated how much rent I would start paying. Because the person who originally owned the property which was the acting landlord brother, who went to prison. When my brother passed away I just started paying what his lease agreement said which was 1,200 at the time. I would complain to the acting landlord about things that needed fixing in the apartment and that I had severe water damage throughout the back of the apartment and that the plug in the kitchen had caught on fire twice. I stopped paying rent because the acting landlord didn't won't to fix anything in the apartment. I had let Chris Acuna office know all this when I had hired him. I also showed pictures and videos of why I stopped paying rent. When my eviction case was coming to a close Chris Acuna told me I would be evicted. Chris Acuna office never let me know all my rights in regards to my case which that I could have filed an appeal or other option that were on hand for me as a tenant. Acuna office also never really kept me updated on the progress of my case. I had never met my attorney who worked on my case. Chris Acuna office handled my case in my opinion very poorly.
I am extremely grateful to have Christopher Acuna and his team representing me in my Eviction case. His team handled every step of the process. They did everything they could to leave me and my family worry free. I would definitely recommend Christopher to anyone who is in need of Eviction services. No matter how many precautions one takes, removing free loaders can be an agonizing endeavor. Christopher’s hard work and diligence has given us our lives back.
