TOURIST’S TAKE ———> A nice little convenience shop, a little pricier than what I’m used to but it might just be the area. They have most basic necessities including but not limited to, Diet Pepsi, popcorn, and Doritos. 😂

I have occasionally gone to this store over the last decade when I have no other option. It is the worst store I have ever been to. The staff seem untrained; the shelves are not adequately stocked; the aisles are narrow and difficult to navigate when there are two people with carts; and there are ofter panhandlers waiting just outside. For some reason stocking goes on during the day and skids/carts are left unattended, blocking the aisles. Staff spend more time talking loudly to each other than working. Any positive reviews must have been written by staff members. Why can’t Acme management wake up and do something to improve things?

My boyfriend and I have been to this acme about 2-3 times and have had very pleasant experiences all the times we’ve been here. The store is very nice and tidy. There’s always a nice selection of food and other products. The food is always fresh too. Would definitely recommend and I would also come back again in the future.

As a concerned community member, I feel compelled to share my recent experiences at our local ACME store, documented with photos from January 7th, 2025: The produce department requires immediate attention: - Multiple empty produce shelves throughout the department - Concerning inventory management issues - Poorly maintained display cases with debris and food remnants visible - Rotting produce still being offered for sale - Generally unkempt conditions in the produce section that don't align with food safety standards I've documented these issues with photos and would appreciate corporate management addressing these problems. This store serves an important role in our community, and many rely on it for fresh, quality food. I would be happy to discuss these concerns directly with management to help improve conditions. I've also reported my food safety concerns to our local health department, as is appropriate when encountering these conditions.

I shop here often because it's on my way back from the gym, but I kick myself whenever I do. The prices are astronomical. Today: Bounty Triple Roll Paper Towels 2 pack cost $11.87. Identical item at Walmart on Columbus Ave. costs $6.97. Would love to shop here more but prices need to come down.

Service at this store grinds to a halt when there's more than like 20 people there. The lines make no sense and there's nowhere for people to queue, and no one is doing crowd control, and some of the cashiers move at a glacial pace-- really chaotic especially considering you can only check out at 1 or 2 registers with a human if you're buying alcohol. Last time I was there, I put my stuff back and went to the other Acme down the street on 10th last time I was there and had a much better experience.

ACME market had so many sales going on, I couldn't believe it. I love ice cream (Talenti and Ben& Jerry's) and they always have some sort of deal going on. The cashiers are really nice and the store is clean. if you're hungry or looking for a quick dinner for the family they have a hot and ready now area with items like fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, chicken tenders, wing dings, macaroni and cheese, and an assortment of vegetables. The items vary from day to day

I'm a regular shopper at this location as this is the closest grocery option for me (I live in Old City). I can almost expect that cashiers will be rude and act like I am inconveniencing them when I check out. Today was no different. Managers are equally rude and seemingly uninterested in providing good customer service.

Good area, offers a place to park although most people live in the area, staff is friendly enough (a bit slow but there usually aren't bad lines depending on the time of day), and they dont make you carry a discount card....we all get the same sales which makes much more sense! They also offer contests from time to time, such as monopoly tickets you collect when you make a purchase.

What’s the point of this acme even being here? They literally never have anything in stock. I understand it’s a small acme as compared to the bigger acmes but every time I come to shop here they are just always out of items or they just don’t have them at all. I live around the corner so I am forced to go here as it is convenient for me. I could literally go to a corner store in south Philly and they’ll have more items for my shopping list than this acme! Management needs to stay on top of inventory here because it’s terrible. I don’t usually write reviews but after my last shopping trip I was just fed up with the out of stock items. Just terrible I tell ya
