2nd STREET SoHo

It’s definitely not for cheap clothing items. It’s more for if you want the thrifted vibe but also want to wear luxury clothing items. The clothes are the same price as the luxury items, but I think the collection of clothes is just specifically if you want a streetwear vibe from a thrift shop

Do not sell here; this store is the worst. I brought some items to sell, and they said it might take an hour. No one called me, so I returned after 3 hours. The place was a mess, completely unorganized. I had to wait even longer until they gave me a paper stating they would pay me $4.86. I assumed this amount was for 3 items since the paper listed 3 items. Later, I found out it was for all 28 items I brought in. No one explained the paper to me, and I couldn’t take my items back because I had already accepted the offer, mistakenly thinking it was for only 3 items. I’m dyslexic, so reading a paper with a lot of detailed information is challenging for me. They had 3 hours but didn’t take a second to explain what the paper meant.

The staff were consistently unhelpful and dismissive, making it clear that customer service isn’t a priority. Questions were met with attitude, and there was zero effort to offer assistance or even basic courtesy… all on top of extremely low rates for selling items.

Horrible selling experience, staff was not being proactive and yet I have to wait to sell? Yea thats because y’all ain’t doing your jobs

Shop is good, you can find lot of things very good price. But stuff isn’t honest, security allow me to bring inside my small bag and water bottle… I left it in the corner and start to look things, 1 minutes later it disappeared. I find water bottle inside stuffs corner and I ask them where was bag, he told me I see only bottle… I said, it was only minute and no way somebody took it, so, on 20 seconds he bring that bag also. He wanted to stole…!

Cool store! It’s a good combination of thrift / vintage and designer, with some of the higher end clothes being upwards of a couple hundred dollars and others being as low as like $5. Nothing caught my eye in particular, but I’d say it’s definitely a cool spot to check out.

First and last time coming here holyy garbage 😭 items are very overpriced; they will price beat up margielas close to retail price aswell as rick owen pieces in poor quality (i just recommend buying fresh ones across the street) and worn camperlab the same as market-price. poor quality items ranging on average between $$$500-$700. originally came into the store to sell items, i waited hours in store for them to check the items; no customers in the fitting rooms and no line to check out. they had full team on the floor not doing anything. waited until after the store closed to tell us they weren't going to do it and to come back tomorrow because they were closing. this lack of communication is very frustrating because they definitely knew they weren't going to have time to help me and wasted my time instead of being transparent with the client and telling me around 7pm. would not recommend and will be going to TRR.

Having been to every 2nd Street in the city, and a number across the country, I can confidently say this location has the most egregious pricing I’ve seen to date. Chaps for $33, Uniqlo above retail, Carhartt jackets hovering in the hundreds- disappointing

I have shopped here many times and was always rubbed off wrongly by the security guards where the would follow me around as I shopped and always seemed to keep their eyes only on black costumers. I’ve had friends and family come with me and told me they don’t feel comfortable and won’t be shopping here ever again, my last visit WILL be my last visit. I walked in and I was greeted by a security that said I would have to give him my tote bag as it is not a shopping bag, I told him no I will not be giving you my bag bc it has all of my personal belongings in it, he then responded to me saying well don’t put anything in it then. I was so throw off by this it was all I could think about while I was shopping and as I walked around and as I observed him letting people into the door, there were many women, white women at that, that came into the store and he never asked for there bags. As I shopped i was rushed by a women who was a worker that ran up to me as if she was looking for me asking me (I was never in her sight) asking me if she could take the stuff to the front and I responded saying no I’m fully capable of holding the items in my hand. Over all this is a disgusting place, if your black just know they will be on you.

2nd Street is my favorite thrift store-franchise in NY! I loved the SoHo collection and there were a lot of men’s items. I was not a huge fan of some of the women’s selection but I know I am probably perceiving it from my type of style. The have a lot of edgy outfits and there are a lot of unique styles. The high-end items are priced fairly.
