2nd STREET SoHo

This is my favorite thrift shop chain in the city, as I have found some really good pieces at a very good price. The staff can be a bit aloof at times - not always the most attentive, but the overall shopping experience is seamless and pleasant.

Mudd jeans for $99….. after seeing that it wasn’t even worth continuing through this store. Crazy price for something worth less than $20.

This store is a joke. I asked to buy a jacket off the mannequin they said it was for sale. I tried it on and went to purchase it until Ash one of the workers there stopped me right before purchasing and told me that it’s “reserved” for this older lady who supposedly had “20+ items on hold” she then started to create a scene when I told her o was about to talk about it on social media. The reason I feel she flipped out and tried apologizing was because Ash more then likely backdoors items to resell them later on. This is genuinely the worst experience I have ever had. I recommend never to do business with a store like this. Extremely sketchy and just trying to make a quick buck.

Is this some kind of a joke? They’re literally selling OLD stuff charging ridiculous amount of money. EVERYTHING looks CHEAP. And they would charge you $1000 for a coat that is made in China for $10 and the store probably bought it for no more than $15. The funniest thing is you need to leave your bag and your coffee at the front and the security guard locks the door of the store after you enter like they have some valuables in there. I literally can’t see the reason why would anybody pay $1000 for an old worn out coat? On top of that, staff were rude.

I would’ve given them a Zero if it was an option! I came into this establishment to sell 36 pieces of Men’s & Women’s Clothing. Only 6 pieces were Women’s items. I was asked for my phone number so I could receive a call back to return to the store. I was told to come back in 2 Hours or more due to short staffing. I gave them 4 Hours & I returned believing that they bought several items from my Bag. The Men’s items were in Mint Condition never worn something this store Frowns on!! Clean Clothes !! The Men’s Clothing came from Marshall’s & TjMaxx. Anyone who’s ever shopped in either stores knows that the Men’s Section has Fly Clothing for Men! I was told that they weren’t buying anything from me! You have to be kidding me! I came in here at 1:00pm it is now 5:00 pm, out of 36 pieces you couldn’t find anything up to your stores standards? This delusional wannabe Bougie Basquiat service guy tells me we don’t buy Zara clothing here! What? There was only 1 Women’s shirt from Zara what about the other 35 items? Excuses/Lies take your pick!! What’s your issue with Zara? There are many Female Celebrities who sing their Praises about Zara’s Clothing Company! They make more money than Bougie Guy will ever make in his lifetime!! Due to his Unprofessionalism & Lack of Professional Customer Service Skills!! This store is a Hub for Garbage: All I see in here is dirty clothes, dirty shoes with rips on them, dirty old worn out coats! I should’ve taken my clothing and laid them on the dirtiest sidewalks and then walked up and down on them. I’m sure Bougie Basquiat guy would’ve bought every dirty piece cause that’s there store standard! You’re in here acting & masquerading in this place like it’s a Popping Boutique in Paris!! It took him 4 hours to come to that decision if he didn’t want anything from my bag, you asked for my phone number but you didn’t have the Professional Courtesy to call me to tell me that it’s a No Sell!! So I could’ve the option to go to another Buyer! I went to Buffalo exchange and they bought several of my items. I will never step foot in Second SoHo or Second NoHo! They’re both delusional places where unqualified people act like there kings and queens because they get to decide if you receive money or not! I guess that makes you feel important like you’re the CEO of an emerging company! Ha! Feeling important because you clearly you don’t feel important in your personal life.

YOO. I dropped some vintage bags and accessories off at this store to get authenticated and priced, and EXPLICITLY asked that the two pristine bags be stored in their dustbags. I received them back all tossed in the same bag. The Gucci handbag I left came back with noticeable scratches (probably from the zippers and hardware of the other pieces it was tossed in the same bag with). I was also really upset that the beautiful Vintage Louis Vuitton Epi Speedy 25 I left with them came back with wear along the edges and scratches all over the front and back. I’ve had decent experiences selling to this store in the past, but this was a near $1000 botch (I have the quotes if you think i’m exaggerating). Sell your busted stuff here all day, but anything of value is not safe.

Horrible experience, staff is very rude and security guards are rude. Items are in such bad conditions its like they didn’t even try to clean them and marked them near retail price.

Store is cool, customer service and support was off. My daughter fainted in the store and their first aid kit was expired so I couldn't get ice packs to work. A customer called 911 and security just stared at us at the dressing room area until an ambulance arrived to pick us up 15 min later. Not happy about the way they handled the emergency.

I love the 2nd streets. All the new york locations are great and I have yet to fail to find something I loved. Staff is super nice, store is clean as always, selection and prices as well!

I would give a Zero if it was an option! I brought in 2 crisps barely worn pair of Stan Smith & Rebooks sneakers, New Balance sneakers. Calvin Klein Slide shoes, 5 articles of clothing to only receive $60! Everything was in mint condition. I believe this place is a ripoff! Very selective of who they want to pay a fair financial wage for exchange of merchandise. There want be a next time I rather donate or place them in a bin. This place is Garbage!!
