Found 2 brand new dresses with tags for $9 each! One of which was 100% silk. Fyi they don’t have carts or a fitting room (not that I saw any) so my arms were heavy from the items I was carrying around/contemplating to buy. Overall nice selection of good condition items, priced reasonably. Ps: Chelsea branch is bigger and more feminine selections.

I am I frequent buyer and seller at 2nd st locations in the city I always have an amazing experience at this location but last time I was in the store there was an older gentlemen with long dark hair who was making me very uncomfortable when I was trying to sell my stuff he kept asking other works my name and if I dropped off and I have never meet or he has never introduced himself to me so I felt very weird and uncomfortable by that I ended up taking my things back and selling them else where because why as I loyally client and I getting named dropped and seeming like they don’t wanna take my things as it is a buying and selling business and all the other staff are so nice and Knowledgeable but that gentleman was making the whole store feel uncomfortable at that time I was in there I hope to continue doing business with 2nd st and hope this problem or issue can be resolved

This place is AMAZING. Best 2nd Street location by far! The employees are so nice, especially the one with the mustache beard. Prices are good and selection is good if you know what you’re looking for.

I really liked this second-hand-store. There were a few clothes from well-known brands, for example I saw a Bugatti jacket for 100$ (which is still not expensive I think), but also many no name clothes. I was satisfied by the sorting and the vendors were nice.

Minimal size variation in clothing (I know, it happens) but anything that I found in my size range (M-L) had a stain on it! Why are you charging $25 for used clothes that have stains? And I’m not talking “oh on the back lower side there’s a small stain, hardly noticeable” I’m talking front and center of the clothes lol Some of the stained clothes were unique pieces and I can see people wanting to still buy them, but not for $25. It felt….weird.

Well stocked store, there are just a lot of people inside. Security guard at the door to watch your bags while you shop.

My selling experience here was laughable. I bought in a bag of clothing and shoes. For example… brand new Neiman Marcus leather skirt with tags for $250, Christian Louboutin heels, Zimmerman dress, marc jacobs silk dress along with 10 vintage pieces from the 70’s and 80’s. These people took everything except for 2 pieces and offered me $23!!! 😂 I can’t make this stuff up. They were giving me $1 for each of my pieces 😂 I thought I was in the twilight zone. Maybe the seller was high that morning but I said give me back all my stuff please. This is the scamiest thing I’ve ever encountered. So if you bought my items for $1,are you reselling them for $2?? I doubt it. Anyway, I went to beacons closet and sold only the vintage items, because I took out the big names and new items and they gave me $175 for 8 items. The same day, the same bag. I have the paper from 2nd street if you don’t believe me

If you have a budget this isn’t the place to go the things range from 30$ to 500$ and there are so many people there and when you walk in they ask you to leave your bag at the front door but also they have to much expensive stuff and it’s just not a thrift store

Honestly I usually shop here a lot I sold for the first time, these prices I got did not make sense to what I would pay at the store. I am COMPLETELY disgusted by what they offered me for my clothes. This heavyset white dude COMPLETELY disrespected me. I WILL not be shopping here again or my colleagues.
