This weekend sale is the best sale ever!! 70% all Stamps!! At Single Mom prices I was able to get my daughter clothes for the Summer and I bought myself a couple of things too! Thanks Uptown!!
Employees forgot I was waiting. I walked around the store picking out items to purchase all while noticing my basket of clothes to sell had been gone thru and was just waiting for me to be called. I waited over an hour. Noone else in the store selling. Actually, the 2 people other then myself walked out before me. I told the employee I didnt want to wait any longer and would just take my items. He looked at my ticket and said "your ticket is ready" he gave me a very low offer and I kindly declined to accept. He didnt say another word. Walked away and never looked my way again until I asked him if I did something to cause him to be so rude. He said he was losing his voice. So....youre rude to a customer because youre losing your voice? It took me several trips to haul my items back to my car. I was never acknowledged. No sorry for the long wait, no thanks for coming in, no have a nice evening, come again.....nothing. I did say "thank you" as I walked out the door but Noone responded. I am not a rude person. Im in retail type business myself so I understand time can get away from you but I dont understand the rude behavior. Very unprofessional. It is unfortunate because I really wanted this 2 pc set I had found to purchase. I didnt purchase a thing. I wont be going back.
The 70% off stamp sale this weekend was the best, at single mom prices, I had been waiting for this!! I was able to buy my daughter many cute summer items and a couple of things for me, Thanks Uptown! Great staff, pleasantly helpful!!
I found Uptown Cheapskate in Lakeworth on Google maps when I was looking for a thrift store and it had a decent selection with fair prices. The location in Euless, TX was even better! So many clothes to look through there's no way you won't find something you love. I live in Ft. Worth and I've driven all the way to Euless twice now in just a week. I found the cutest dresses for myself (47) & my 16 year old daughter, they have something for everyone.
After visiting several places such as Plato's Closet and Clothes Mentor to try and recoup money from several clothes that I had acquired during a move, I had the best experience at Uptown Cheapskate that I've ever had. All employees were so courteous and helpful and seemed to enjoy their job, which is hard to find nowadays. I was really impressed and will be back.
Have left a good review in the past that got some pretty good traction, but I feel cheated with my last interaction with them. I had sold some clothes and got some store credit that I had used for when I went in today and browsing through there items I found my Levi jacket that was supposedly “donated to charity” it was definitely mine from the tag and size. But when saying something the employee upfront just told me it was weird and while still talking the employee just turned around and started talking to someone else. Really rude and I’m not happy. I liked this place because they “donate” but knowing that they sell those items it kills the trust.
This store was n Euless is one the worst that ever step in , today around 2 pm I stop by to trying to sell some clothes being my first time , I have to fill out a form with all my personal info , then they ask for my id I only have a Mexican passport and id issued here in Dallas tx , never ever in my life had any problem with any of these ids , even to purchase a house or get a bank account, but the manager at this store a hispanic guy did not want to take any of them , never ever comeback or recomend any of this stores
Today I visited the Uptown Cheapskate store location in Euless for the first time and was quite impressed! The store itself is extremely clean and all clothing items are well organized by size and color scheme. There is no clutter to be seen anywhere. Staff was friendly and professional. I purchased several tops for my daughter and myself. Great value and assortment. This place is a gem! Will definitely go back! This is a must visit to add to your list !
I’ve sold multiple clothes there before and never had any issues. This time I brought in about 12 pairs of jeans. Majority of them were from Target or they were Levi jeans that are less than two years old. I rarely wear jeans that was why I was selling them. They told me they couldn’t take them due to their “condition” which I thought was weird because they have taken some beaten up shoes from me in the past for $50! Anyways, they were really busy and probably didn’t want to go through them. They had my clothes in the same garage bag I brought them in and the bag wasn’t even untied… I wouldn’t be surprised if they turned around and profited off of my donated clothes. Good thing I truly was just needing them out of my house. Next time I won’t waste my time or help their business, I’ll just go to Good Will to donate them.
I’m so glad I found this store! I have been waiting my money everywhere else! The clothes were all quality and like new…it was hard to believe how much I was able to get for $60
