Best pina coladas and tacos. Love this spot for the whole family to enjoy different foods, drinks, etc.
The pineapple PINA colada was AMAZING. I had something similar in Hawaii on vacation and I honestly think Tropicale does it better. I’ve heard from friends that the other cocktails are great as well. I got the fish tacos which were ok - the fish was a little dry, but the accompaniments on the taco were well balanced and I liked the fresh fruit on it. There was no sign saying tropicale, so if you go, just trust your GPS/Google maps and it’s the spot on the corner. There is plenty of open air, covered outdoor seating and there are spots next to heaters. Agree with the previous review that the service was a little slow when we were ordering.
Excellent pina coladas, fresh and authentic, not from a mix. For best flavor, I recommend asking them to leave off the cherry juice on top. Festive outdoor seating. Tostones, tacos, and sauces are perfectly crafted and seasoned. The steak is tender and flavorful.

Amazing brunch menu. My husband had el sandwich which was a beautifully eggy savory perfection of a breakfast burger. I had the plantain French toast. Light, fluffy and delicious. The fried plantains were the perfect accompaniment to this cinnamon goodness. Perfect amount of food. Satisfied not stuffed.

So delicious! This place doesn't have any indoor seating but they do have heaters outside. I got the vegan arepas and they were very good and filling. I tried a pear whiskey drink that was good but was 99% ice so I switched to the tropi tropi which was soo tasty and had this really cool foam on top. Would absolutely come back but maybe on a warmer day.
Extremely overpriced and staff ignored us. Honestly one of the places I would not go again considering how high everything was. You could get something way cheaper if you just go to Gresham or Vancouver or anywhere but Portland. Portland is a dying town.
