Came in on a beautiful Monday morning to find some good deals. It was my day off from work! I thought I’ll treat myself to some thrifting and enjoy my day! Unfortunately for me, all I found was high prices and letdowns. Stumbled upon a winter coat for the low price of only $89.99! Along with the great prices, the store was also an absolute wreck. It was disorganized and messy. The employees were also rude to top it all off. Safe to say I left with empty hands and a headache. This place should be ashamed of themselves with these prices. Your name is Texas Thrift not Texas Pay an Arm and a Leg. People come here to find deals not to pay retail prices. I think if you’re gonna charge prices like these, you might need a rebrand. Just a suggestion!

Smells like a dead clothes cemetery in there. They need some fragrance plug-ins. I will say they probably don't wash the clothes before they hang them on the racks. Some household decorations were decent. I couldn't stay inside there long enough to care about the Bargains....just couldn't breathe well.

Sylvia is great person, She was kind and even helped me out with the 10 cents I needed to complete my payment. Thank you, Sylvia. I would also like to add that, even though the store was very crowded and busy, the cashiers were moving so fast that there was no line.

No fitting rooms 13 registers but only ever 1-3 open & you have to wait for an employee to ring you up still. FAKE sales!! Don't get your hopes up about getting their color of the week discounts. I signed up for their texts so I know when the new colors of the week/sales are added. I got a text saying they added a 4th color(Pink). Perfect because there were a couple items I had seen earlier in the week that color & wanted to go back & get them. I got here just after they opened & saw several employees pulling as many pink tags they could get their hands on. They had multiple large rolling bins full of the pink tagged items & were talking them to the back. Why advertise a "sale" when you don't actually plan on leaving the items on the floor?

I recommend avoiding this store. None 🗣of their brands are true to size, they lack fitting rooms, and their strict no-return, no-exchange policy means you are stuck with items that don't fit....Risky place to spend your money 👩‍⚖️Imagine the people on a fix income trying to save money but they lose money instead...🙄🤔

I used to love going to Texas Thrift because they had a good selection of products and prices were only slightly above average (I.e., a nice polo was $5-8). However, over the last few months they’ve been changing their pricing. Items that used to cost under $7 are now over $10. There are some items that they list at what would be typical MSRP. For example, an Under Armor hoodie with a big stain on it was listed for $20. This doesn’t limit itself to clothes, I found several single quart Rubbermaid containers for $5 when a pack of 4 is around that. It seems like they only pay attention to the name of the brand and then ignore the condition of the items. The workers are always nice and the service is good. It sucks that they adjusted the prices on everything.

Liz was great, had such a great attitude even with the rush and long, she was friendly and helpful. The store was clean considering the large crowd. Too bad there are no fitting rooms available. I think they should consider having an exchange policy due to no fitting rooms available, but I had fun and found some decent items.

I’ve been shopping at this Texas Thrift location for years, and it continues to impress me. One of my favorite things is their sale alerts, I signed up for notifications and they’ve saved me more than once. Recently, I found out last minute that I needed a specific dress for an event. Right on time, I got a 50% off alert on my phone, and Texas Thrift did not disappoint. I found a beautiful David’s Bridal dress that originally retailed for close to $200. I spotted it for $12.00, and with the 50% off sale, I walked out paying only $6.00. I also found a pair of shoes that would have been around $30 brand new, they were priced at $4.00, and with the sale, they came out to just $2.00. Over the years, I’ve purchased so many name brand items here for just a fraction of what they would cost new, and everything has always been in great condition. One thing to keep in mind: they do not have dressing rooms, so make sure you know your size or bring measurements with you while shopping. It makes the experience much smoother. This store is truly a gem for anyone who loves great deals, quality finds, and a fun treasure hunt shopping experience.

Texas Thrift Store was a perfectly respectable little treasure hunt. The place was clean, organized, and staffed by genuinely kind folks, which already puts it ahead of half the retail stores in Texas and several branches of government. That said, shopping there requires a certain pioneer spirit because there are no fitting rooms. You’re out there freeballin’ your clothing decisions based entirely on vibes, measurements, and prayer so buyer beware. Also, some sort of alarm spent most of our visit screaming like a smoke detector possessed by a poltergeist. Not exactly peaceful browsing ambiance, but we persevered. Overall: decent thrifting, friendly people, solid selection. Just maybe wear stretchy pants and bring emotional resilience.
