I found some BMW shoes I wanted. Staff refused to price them for me. Said I had to wait 24 hours. The manager there also refused. They probably kept the shoes for their.profit

They get stuff for FREE but if a simple, no brand, zip jacket doesn’t have a tag they ask you to come back Monday for the person to “price it” to make sure they’re not missing out on a couple bucks. It was an OP sweater that they sell for $5 full price at Academy. I’m not coming back for that and I’ll never be back again. Maybe reevaluate your business model.

I fear that Texas Thrift (Ingram) has lost the plot. I came into the store yesterday excited for the 50% off sale. I was appalled and quite flabbergasted by the prices on the jackets, dresses, and even pajamas. The audacity to charge over retail prices for used, and mostly low quality clothing is outlandish! SHEIN dresses for $15, jackets for $25, and even $90! Might as well buy the items brand new. For a hot second I thought I might have accidentally entered the twilight zone, but no. The fact that these are all donations and they are up-charging members of the community is truly disgusting. On the contrary, I visited Texas Thrift (Commerce) for the MLK sale and my family and I all had a great time, and walked away with our carts full. So, in highly recommend that location instead. The workers are also lovely. Whoever is deciding the pricing at Texas Thrift Ingram on these items needs Jesus in their life! The icing on the cake is that the store was dirty, a lot of the items had flaws, and people were rude! I will not be returning and I will be sure to tell my family and friends to not come here either! Do better Texas Thrift!! You really should’ve ashamed of yourselves.

‼️It’s actually 0 stars. 1. Retail is cheaper. ALOT. Cheaper I cannot stress this enough. This thrift store is actually a resell store not thrift. It is OVERPRICED for used. Second hand. Free stuff. DONATED. They do NOT care for us. They trick you into those “sales %” deals. They’re not on sale you’re literally paying for the original price. They up the price so they can trick you thinking it’s actually on sale. It’s not. They get their stuff for FREE & want to price it at retail price like if they have to pay for shipping, bulk or something? Do not get me wrong there are SOME stuff you can find IF you get lucky at a decent price. They are very greedy MONEY HUNGRY people now. Very very money hungry, they do not care for us. We come here to shop because we want to shop for affordable items.. but in reality JUST pay the retail price because Texas thrift is OVERPRICED especially for stuff that are in a retail store (brand new) is honestly cheaper.

We met Ms. Araceli who was friendly and accommodating. She assisted us on the self check out counter. Love the place, so many clothes to choose, affordable and cool place to do shopping.

The store is over priced as it is, and I typically only shop whatever is on sale (the color tags of the week) to get a decent deal. New tags go into effect every Monday. I went into the store on a Tuesday at 11 am and ALL the workers were removing the new tags of the week and taking them into the back! This is unethical, to promote savings but take the tags that are on sale… very disappointing. For this week July 15-21 blue tags are 50% off and yellow are 30% off and as you can see by the picture the lady was removing all the yellow tags. I didn’t see a single blue tag during my 2 hour visit that day. What a shame!! Update (June 2025) I heard this store made some changes and has new owners so I decided to give it another try. And guess what? It’s still the same. I went in on a Tuesday (6/10/25) and they are STILL REMOVING THE CLOTHING THATS ON SALE. Why even have sales then? Same scam, different owner.

I've purchased here several times, mostly puzzles. I found a brand new "tag on" swimsuit for $5.99 that I love. I also find nice plant pots for my baby spider plants. My only complaint is all of the clothes face the wrong way on the racks and I'm not left handed!

I've been coming to this store for years. This is definitely my favorite thrift store! Great daily deals and a never ending supply of clothes! Some new with tags! My favorite employee is Liz. She's amazing! She recently was hit by a car while crossing the street and is still going in and working her little heart out!
