I worked with Sunpath to install a solar array on my home in SE Portland. We were impressed with their bid and ultimately chose them because of the care they put into equipment selection and their clarity of communication about the job. We researched their choices and found the equipment to be top of the line: high quality and high dependability. The installation was quick and effectively done...as soon as they received the permit from the city, they were on it. I have been enjoying solar energy for nine months now, and I am so very happy and satisfied to be generating our family's power in this way. I would highly recommend Sunpath both for their experience and their customer service.

Sunpath handled all sorts of permits and inspections I never had to think about; I learned so much about solar and my home while they were planning and installing our 8kw system, but I never felt rushed, confused, or overwhelmed. Two weeks in and we're energy positive (even in October!) and honestly I love how suave our house looks in its shiny hat. Great experience working with Sunpath on our solar installation! The bidding process working with Chris was very informative and low-pressure, and he did his best in all areas to make sure we knew our options to get the best possible array for the right price. His assistance with Energy Trust of OR was invaluable! It was clear early on that moving forward Sunpath was going to be a no-brainer, and that was backed up by their overall approach to providing the right system for our needs. Chet and Aaron were there every step of the way to provide answers to questions or address concerns, and the onsite crew was very efficient once it came time to actually get the panels on our roof. Thanks to Kordon as well for all the work he put into getting our system up and running! By all means, do your research and get comparative quotes, but once you really get a sense of what makes sense when it comes to residential solar installations, I don't think you can do better than to work with Sunpath to get the job done.

SunPath installed a 24.64 kW system on our Pole Barn. We were pushing to get it all done by Dec 31 2025 to qualify for the 30% federal rebate. Our project involved about 175 feet of trenching, installing 56 panels, service disconnects on both sides of the trench, a new main electrical panel, and connecting to the grid along side an existing standby generator. The SunPath crew worked very hard to get it done and they finished a few days before their estimate, well ahead of the Dec 31 deadline. The system feels polished and works wonderfully. They quickly answered all of my questions (e-mail and voice) throughout the process. We're extremely happy that we chose SunPath, and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Tip: Whatever you decide, make sure you get a Consumption CT installed with your system. They're cheap, and allow you to monitor total usage and production in real time.

After getting a few bids from pushy and somewhat deceptive salesmen on solar, we got in touch with Chet at sunpath and boy are we happy we did. Straightforward bidding, consummate professionalism, in depth knowledge of the industry and optimal materials, the package Chet and the Sunpath folks put together was the best around and by far the most cost competitive. I researched the best panels and microinverters assuming there would be some variance in quality to price but sunpath started their bid with the best options. We’ve read horror stories about people waiting months to get inspections and install but everything happened for us in a couple months and that was largely due to us wanting to replace our roof first. In reality, it probably was a couple weeks. Install happened in a day, full day for those boys, and we were switched on a week later. Couldn’t be more pleased with the experience and outcome!

Our home required a new roof. But we have 27 solar panels up there. After looking over several companies and getting multiple bids, we decided to go with Sunpath Services to remove, and then after the new roof was completed, reinstall our panels. They provided a competitive bid, and on their website, specifically state they remove and reinstall solar panels. That was a big plus. Jake and Johnathan were quick and efficient beginning to end. They were considerate of our yard and home. They cleaned the panels prior to reinstall, and for a small additional fee, tested the voltage on each panel. When they finished, they threw the switch and we were back in the solar business again. We definitely recommend Sunpath Services to anyone needing to remove and reinstall solar panels.

Chet, Jake, and the entire Sunpath Solar team are incredibly professional, communicative, and helpful. My inverter failed, and despite multiple frustrations dealing with the manufacturer of the inverter to get this replaced, Jake and his team stuck with me, and helped navigate the repair process. They have been extremely generous with their time, and their expertise, and they have been very patient with this particular project. I have been so impressed with their service and their quality that I switched my ongoing solar monitoring and support from my previous company to this company.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Sunpath Services for the installation of solar panels on my home. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.The initial consultation with Chet was thorough and helped me to understand the various options available to me. Chet took care of all the paperwork on our behalf and even reached out to our HOA to get the approval and got the documents they require for approval. On the day of the installation, the team arrived on time and got straight to work. They were efficient and carefully explained each step of the process to me. The installation was completed on time and the team made sure to clean up after themselves. I would highly recommend Sunpath to anyone considering solar panels for their home.

We couldn’t have been happier with our experience with Sunpath. We initially requested a quote in the summer of 2023 but decided to hold off of pursuing it at that time for reasons unrelated to SunPath. The initial quote process was a breeze and Chet made everything easy to understand. It was by far the lowest pressure sales experience we’ve ever had (in any industry, but it was especially notable in the solar industry after our experience getting 4 other quotes from other solar companies). In March 2024 we decided to move forward and reached back out to Chet, he quickly provided us with an updated (and even more cost effective) quote and a month later the crew was out installing our panels. They were efficient, respectful, and so helpful. Maggie took care of all the administrative permit work and made it so easy on us as customers. The communication was amazing throughout and we always received timely responses. We’ve had our solar fully on for 2 weeks now and the only regret is not doing it sooner. Thank you Chet and team!
