The employee serving me was not pleasant and lacked basic customer service skills. I spoke to him and he did not speak back. He was not friendly in any way. He rushed through my order and there was no need as I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time. After dealing with the employee's rudeness, I had to deal with beggars right outside of the door of the restaurant panhandling, harassing me, and scaring the children in my car. This was extremely scary situation to be in at night at a restaurant when you just want to get your food and leave. I was extremely disappointed in the service here.
I would have given this location a better review. The owner and the one particular employee that always has on a stylish subway head wrap are always great! . But there’s one particular thing employee( Ma female not the new male employee) that is usually there with the one with one with the head warp who is always rude, stand-offish and combative. I always come in and order the day thing with no problems. Which is a kid meal for my child . This particular employee always gives me push back with attitude when I order and shows clear lack of training. She is the only employee at several different subways across state lines that gives me these problems . For my kids sandwich she only would allow ONE slice of meat ( and no this is not protocol, being an ex subway employee ) . However , I did not cause a fuss . I offered to pay more for extra meat, which is allowed , and she still refused. Needless to say I ended up traveling to another subway location 15 away who provided me with exceptional customer service with no push back.
There was nothing wrong with the restaurant, the lady was very nice that made my sandwich which was the steak sandwich but here's the deal, they did not accept coupons. I went in there to feed the family with the 3 subs for $17 coupon. Well I just left with one sandwich for $9. The sandwich itself was great, The artisan Italian bread was great. But I was just too disappointed about that coupon thing. I was trying to eat good before the Jaguar game
I’m mad I even have to give a star the custom service is trash dude move slow, it was only 2 people in front of me and it took him almost 45 minutes. Yes I watched the clock because I was on lunch. Also they were out of a lot of items.
Lack of professionalism, poor manners. It's uncomfortable to eat in a place where the employees are as messy as a wrestling match. A very bad atmosphere.
The guy that was working was trying his best however there was only 2 pieces of bread left after we ordered 6 subs online so we got pitas bread, and no meatballs, steak and various other meats. Had to change our entire order to accommodate what they had left and he had to keep restocking every item we asked for as if they are not busy enough to keep it on the line. Won't be returning to this location and gonna stick to our normal firehouse or Publix
It was gross. Got a meatball Subang it had now sauce on it. I got it to go. The service was like robots, no personality, just doing their job.
Honestly one of the best Subways I’ve been to since moving to Florida, and definitely the best in Jacksonville. The store was incredibly clean, and even though they were busy and only had one employee he was incredibly efficient and friendly, and these were easily the most well-made sandwiches I’ve had. We will be back often.
When I arrived I was the only customer. When I left I was 1 of 7 customer. The worker stood at the cash register and counted all the money in the register that took 15min. Another worker demanded we back up from the counter while they count money and not take orders. Not once did anyone say sorry for the inconvenience or just a moment please. This place ran so much smoother with Brandon as the GM.
Edit: What a difference 8 years makes! I went there today for the first time in a very long time. I was greeted with loud music and a tense interaction between a customer and the Sandwich Artist, if that's what they still call them. She hadn't heard the man's request because the music was so loud. So, she changed the music to something that should never be played in a public establishment. It was the rauchiest rap music I think I have ever heard, and I grew up on some dirty ones. I don't think I have heard the P word so much in a restaurant. And it was even louder than the original song. When the manager came out front, the gentleman asked if she was the manager, to which she said yes, and ignored the music. When I mentioned that I needed to pray after this visit, she responded that I should have been doing that already. OK!!! At some point, the music was changed. I do want to thank the gentleman for paying for my sandwich. Yeah, I think it'll be another long gap before I visit this store again. I do enjoy the staff here.
