The oldest Starbucks as my wife wanted to visit and get here cup for the day. Have to wait in line. Nothing special but to take pics and say you were here.

I finally got to visit the legendary original Starbucks store in Seattle, a place I’d always dreamed of going. During my stay, I found myself coming back again and again. On weekends around noon, there’s always a long line, but if you go on a weekday around 7 a.m., it’s quiet and you can get in without waiting. The staff are genuinely kind, friendly, and make you feel so welcome. The original store merchandise is super cute and makes for great souvenirs. I bought some coffee beans there—very reasonably priced and incredibly tasty. Honestly, I regret not buying more to take back to Japan. For me, this is an absolute must-visit spot in Seattle.

Expect long line ups as this place was really a must-see when visiting Seattle. We went on a Saturday morning and there is a decent line up. We waited about 15-20mins. The store could only accommodate at least 25 customers inside. Merchandises are on display and you can also order coffee’s, frappes, etc.

I think this place is overrated. I guess if you want to order from the first Starbucks, it’s cool. They have a “special roast” that’s only available at this location and one other that you can get for an extra $1 per drink so we decided we might as well but it tastes exactly the same as every other Starbucks coffee, You get in line to order then get in another small area line to wait for your drink and then quickly ushered out of the store. The vibe is very amusement park ish. I would never go back and the line is absolutely wild for the questionable service received.

Great to be at the first Starbucks store. Had to wait in a line to get inside but it’s worth it. The servers at the counters were very friendly and patient. Nice place to buy souvenirs that’s only available at the Pike Market store.

I am a huge fan of Starbucks worldwide and love collecting their mugs, so this particular Starbucks holds a special, symbolic meaning for me. The moment I visited, I was impressed by the tranquil and welcoming atmosphere. Around 7:00 AM, the store was only showing a few customers, which meant I was able to order my drink quickly without any line. The service was excellent — the staff greeted everyone with a smile and made the experience truly pleasant. Later in the day, around 5:00 PM, I had to wait in a queue for about 10 minutes, but it was quick and efficient, thanks to their well-organized service. One of the highlights of this location is that you can purchase unique mugs from the very first Starbucks in the world, making it a must-visit for collectors and fans. The store’s historic significance, combined with friendly service and the chance to buy exclusive merchandise, makes it a memorable visit. Whether you're a Starbucks enthusiast or just looking for a special place, I highly recommend stopping by — it’s a iconic spot with a warm, friendly feeling that keeps me coming back.

As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, While in Seattle for the Fifa world cup I wanted to visit the place where Star Bucks began, unfortunately being a sunday around 10 am they were taking reservations with the earliest available 5.15pm. Which was unfortunate but took a photo outside the front.

Visiting the first ever Starbucks store was a wonderful experience all coffee and Starbucks lovers should add to their stop while in Seattle. It is much smaller than I thought it would be but still a very cool experience and it gets busy. I recommend going right when they open (as we did). The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I loved that the gentleman who took our order made small talk with us and shared some cool personal stories, it was much appreciated and he added much joy to our day. There are many tumblers/souvenirs for purchase.
