Great Starbucks in the heart of KC. A very busy location. Use the app to order of ahead but be prepared to wait. The staff is very friendly. There are a lot of tables.
March 2026 - I’ve been coming here recently because my hospital is practically next to this location. Every time I’ve asked for light ice on my drink they have listened. They’re really on top of what the customer wants & I am very grateful! My previous experiences here a few years ago weren’t the best. I don’t know if they have a new manager but I’m thankful for the change I’ve seen at this location! Will continue to frequent here. 2024 - 1/5stars So my friend came through earlier today on her way down to my end of town & picked up Starbucks near her doctor. I very clearly ordered a trenta as it shows on my mobile order as well as the physical label on my tea. The problem is when I called the person in the background told the worker I was talking to that it was the customer’s fault and that we needed to come back in to process a refund. The audacity to treat a customer like that when they’re remaining calm. I asked to talk to a supervisor & they put me on mute until I hung up. Rudest experience I’ve ever had at a Starbucks. Will be forwarding the info to corporate because I didn’t deserve to be treated that poorly. I never raised my voice, just very direct that I wanted to figure out how to solve the problem of a refund with a manager. Most unprofessional experience, I’m super disappointed in the employees who felt the need to behave that way.
Popped in on my normally-friendly neighborhood Starbucks. I got an Egg Nog Chai drink there the other day, but it was showing unavailable in the app. So I decided to ask about it in the drive-thru. I was told SB did not have an Egg Nog Chai, but rather an Egg Nog Latte. I was confused (as the app itself officially lists the drink as an Iced Chai Eggnog Latte), but asked if the Pumpkin Chai was still available instead. The response I got, "anything else?" I didn't confirm I wanted it and did not give a size. And the "anything else" was repeated a few more times as the conversation wore on. I get it. 8am is early, but if being pleasant and willing to answer customer questions is not your ministry, there are other roles in Starbucks I'd imagine. Or other jobs. Please re-train whomever was taking orders at 8am on 12/15. I don't like it when someone is short and dismissive when I'm trying to patronize a business, and I certainly don't like being gaslighted. That experience was unfortunate.

Sick and tired of getting shaken brown sugar espresso with spoiled oat milk. Twice this week and I go every day. 3 drinks were great but two spoiled with oatmilk chunks floating!
What I ordered vs what I got! No cherry fixings is fine. However, they didn't even make an Iced Chai alternative. It's a coffee with raspberry flavor and maybe the oat milk I requested. Yuck!!
I rarely ever leave reviews, but this one is special. I went to the Starbucks on 41st and main. First off, the mango dragonfruit lemonade is 🔥. Second of all, I went into the bathroom to wash my hands and I saw a sharps container in there. I asked what that was for, and the young lady said for diabetics. As a type 1 diabetic, most places I go don't even think about diabetics. The fact that this exists really warmed my heart in the middle of January.
This specific location has a rude barista. I come in every other week and order the same items while I study with my friend. This time, when I came in I met with my friend and before I could set my stuff up and get to the counter the barista came up and said "um are you two going to order anything?" ... I said yes once I get settled. I looked around and there were 4 other tables with no drinks/items, and she only asked the one other table with a black woman. I continued to sit in the Starbucks and she never went to the other tables and asked them. It was embarrassing and I come here all the time? lol if you want coffee and study go somewhere else.
It's Starbucks. Our drinks were great. All the Baristas are definitely far left dyed hair pierced crazy people but they make the best coffee thats for sure
