First off let me say God is good and Jesus is king and I pray over all the workers at this location. I just received the absolute WORST customer service at this location on this Sunday 04/06/25. I can see that this location is a VERY LGBTQ friendly and racist might I add. It’s obvious. So I ordered 3 things. Come up to window some rainbow hair guy (because I didn’t get his name) was just not friendly at all. No greeting just took my money, handed me my food and just shut the window in my face and said nothing. No thank you, nothing. Didn’t ask if I needed a straw and didn’t even give me the sauce I asked for to go with my egg bites. The lid on my drink wasn’t on all the way and it spilled in my car! So I called to speak to supervisor whose name was Dillon and I let him know that I just received awful customer service and he makes excuse saying they are busy. I’m sorry I’ve worked at Starbucks before and with many years of customer service experience there is no excuse to treat a paying customer like that! Before I could mention my drink spilling he hung up in my face and told me he basically didn’t care if I came back to the store or not. I came back through drive thru to get names and my sauce and drink re made. The other gay guy with red shirt shaggy medium dark brown hair rudely hands me my sauce, I let him know about my drink and he rolls his eyes because he had to re make my drink and then gets a nasty attitude saying he’s new when I asked for supervisor name who I spoke to on the phone. As a black woman and a service member of the Army I just find this place highly disrespectful and if I could rate 0 stars I would.
This location is SLOOOOOW. The first time I went, my mom had the time to go into the store next door, buy office supplies, and walk back and I was still waiting to order in the drive thru. Today, it took just as long. 15 mins and they only had 1 flavor (out of 4) of Refresher. I went with it because it took so long, but I got this light pink water. No flavor. No fruit The worst...
When I had to take my kid to the NICU and I just got done having a c-section. I went in and asked to go to the bathroom and the doors were locked and I asked them to see if I can and they told me I have to buy something just for me to go to the bathroom. I was so mad I waked out.
I went through the drive through. They were a little backed up but the line was moving smoothly. I ordered a black coffee and 2 pup cups. The lady at the window was very kind and delightful.
There is genuinely nothing fast about this Starbucks location. Nothing. It has to be the slowest experience at any location I have been to in the metro. There is no reason it should take my entire one hour lunch break just to make it through the drive through. Plus, I’m convinced that they make my sandwich the moment I order it at the drive through and let it sit throughout the 15 minutes it takes to get up to the window. By then, the food is stale and cold.
Usually avoiding Starbucks... but this branch is really good, well-lit, and unusually welcoming in spirit and vibe. It's the people who work here, their upbeat and sincere presence. Outdoor seating is good, too. Five (rare) stars!!
Had a great experience at this Starbucks! Finley was incredibly patient and went out of the way to help with our order. Really appreciated the attention to detail and friendly service. Highly recommend this location—will definitely be coming back!
The girl working at 7pm -8pm was super nice, had excellent service, and was very attentive Make her a manager i didn’t get her name but she was working the window and had black pigtails
Art! While in KC we often visited this particular Starbucks as we often drove by it during our visit. Starbucks chains are often the usual, and you basically know what your going to get. However at this particular SB, I was intrigued with the local art. KC is known for its art and I found that many local stores and coffee shops carried some beautiful pieces. The shop itself was pretty busy each day from the drive through to the inside environment, but you know that often means they are good at what they do. Our wait time each day was about an average of 15 minutes.
