Odd but I've somehow had a completely different experience compared to these other reviewers. I've taken my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder to Star Automotive maybe a half dozen times over the past 2-3 yrs for issues and the fix has always been quick/easy/inexpensive. The shop is pretty close to our neighborhood which makes it convenient for my wife and I.
Purchased Groupon for oil change, called to make appt, guy was rude, said we would owe more money even though we already paid for it! Will not be doing business with this shady business!
I received a Groupon for an oil change. The Groupon required an appt. I called, the associate asked what type of engine I had. I told him I was unsure. He said it would cost 8-18 dollars extra depending on the size of the filter. He said but I will see you tomorrow at noon. My husband went the next day for the appt. He called and said an appt was never made, he didn’t have the filter on hand, and that it cost 23.75. None of this info is what he gave me! I will never go here again!
