Very cool, experience was unique and food was great. We went for lunch but they have a large dinner menu. Great bar and plenty of views.
A great experience stem to stern. One of the most unique dining experiences I've had, the vintage industrial vibe and the river below make for a fun environment. Our server Stephan was a joy. We plan to make this a regular stop when we're in the city. I was pleasantly surprised by the resonable prices.
Unique and special. A train trestle repurposed as an open air restaurant, bar and event space.
Had a terrible experience! Never come here if you want to have a pleasant experience and delicious food. The server was very rude and the food never came even after 2 hours. Will never come here again.
This place continues to impress! They are new and working things out but, I will say...This has been my 3rd time here, ordering the same exact things on the menu and for the drinks, The quality of service and food has become much more consistent. What a cool place!

From the moment you walk in, the ambiance feels warm, stylish, and inviting, making it perfect for a casual outing, dinner with friends, or a special evening. The location itself adds so much to the experience, especially during sunset when the views become even more stunning. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and every dish was prepared with great attention to detail. What made the visit even better was the outstanding service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire meal. The combination of delicious food, scenic surroundings, and excellent hospitality makes River House a place you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with a perfect riverside vibe!
The food here was actually surprisingly good especially their fries. We ordered the lobster roll, and the crunch salad with salmon and Both were very tasty. The only thing you really have to worry about is seating. If you want a table you may have to make a reservation and wait awhile. You can walk in and eat at the bar though without any wait if there are spots available.

We visited the Rock Island Bridge mid week, mid afternoon. At this time the crowd was pretty small and the vibe was super chill. I can see this being a great time for happy hour and after. We shared the turkey sandwich and I have to say it was delicious! The service was outstanding. The bar looks like they have everything you might want. We'd recommend for a good lunch and most likely a great happy hour!
