We had an excellent experience with PSS, from the time we first explored the possibility and cost of installing roof solar panels until we finally did so almost 3 years later! The presentation of options, analyses and alternatives that we asked them for were key to our decision and planning for the installation later, which had to wait on our roof replacement in the meantime. There is clearly a company culture of straight forward information-sharing, without salesmanship or pressure. The pricing was competitive with other estimates and I think that the projections were more realistic than others about the production levels, which has been affirmed in our subsequent solar production results. The installation went smoothly and I appreciated that all of the crew seemed to be PSS employees, not subcontractors. Highly professional at every stage.

PSS did an incredible job building out my home solar installation. During our initial research, Jason provided the most knowledge sales pitch of our options - for example, instead of just quoting the maximum number of panels that could physically fit on our roof, he used a drone to examine our house and then quoted us several different options based on potential tradeoffs/complications. Afterwards, Ryan came over as project manager and took the time to go over all of the details of our choice. Our subsequent installation crew was super friendly and professional; it really felt like they took pride in their work. Although there were initial hiccups with the cabling, the team immediately came back the next week to fix the issue. All in all, we're very happy with our new solar array and have even gotten compliments from the neighbors about it!

I had a fantastic experience working with Puget Sound Solar on my recent solar installation. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I initially worked with Jake on the system design. He maintained clear and consistent communication throughout the process and worked with me through multiple design iterations to make sure the system met my needs. He also took the time to thoroughly explain how net metering works and walked me through the available solar incentives, which helped me make an informed decision. Once the project moved forward, Ryan (Project Manager) and Anthony (Electrician and Team Lead) took over. They were both professional and ensured a smooth and timely installation. Anthony did a great job explaining the install process, worked hard to minimize any disruption to our power, and the final installation was seamless and tidy. Even after the system was up and running, the service team at Puget Sound Solar went above and beyond—proactively identifying and resolving an issue with the Enphase gateway. Overall, I’m incredibly happy with the outcome and the entire experience. I would definitely work with Puget Sound Solar again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone considering solar.

We had a great experience with Puget Sound Solar for all the steps in the completion of our residential solar project. They answered our many questions during the proposal and design phase, including evaluating different panel layouts that we requested. We were able to follow their design methodology and projection of electrical energy saved. The system installation went very smoothly. The crew of 3, with two installing panels on the roof and one connecting the electrical side worked well together. They worked efficiently and safely on our steep roof and in the rain. The work was done in 3 days, right before Thanksgiving. And to finish strong they connected our system to the Enlighten App so we can see the performance of our system in real time. I'm glad I went with Pudget Sound Solar for my solar installation. Their quote was clear, had all the details I needed, and had straightforward pricing. Installation was smooth, taking less than 2 days to install more than 40 panels on two buildings. The crew was very professional and took care to protect the areas they worked in.

On the install dates, the crew (Sam, Alec, Kai, and Ajibu) arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and kept the work area clean. (Shout out to Sam, who came up with a nice solution to fit all the new conduit in and about the dry wall besides the electrical panel). I was one of the many homeowners who rushed to install solar before the incentives ended in 2025. I contacted Puget Sound Solar on July 5, received a quote by July 16, and installation of our 11.5 kw system was completed (and power being generated) by Oct 23. They were communicative throughout, handled all of the permits and Seattle City Light process without my involvement, and even moved up my installation date by 3-4 weeks. When we ran into challenges sourcing the original panels, they helped find equivalent replacements for the same cost. They ultimately came in ahead of schedule and on budget - how often does that happen for large home improvement projects? (Hint: rarely!) Big thanks to Jake, Ryan, Allie, Sam, and the rest of the installation crew!

I had an excellent experience working w/PSS. After they installed my home solar system, including an EV charger, I contacted them regarding an issue w/ the installed EV charger. Alisha Turpin on their staff worked tirelessly to resolve the issue. Unusual to have such competent and responsive attention post installation.
