Ordered a sandwich via a mobile app which said was ready for pu and when I arrived the manager said it would be about an hour before my order is ready. I sent a msg to the cs at the app and they said Potbelly automatically marks orders as completed 10 minutes after its printed, even if the order isn't ready. I think there are better options around this neighborhood. The staff at the store were unhelpful, seems like they didn't care at all.
I give this shop a 3 star, i love potbelly sandwiches. I always have a good experience. But today when i went in the guy that was making my sandwich definitely didn’t care about cross contamination. He made my sandwich, while it was going through the oven, he was touching all sorts of things and cleaning the sink with the same gloves he was using to make my sandwich. Once my sandwich was out of the oven i figured he’d change his gloves but nope, he continued to use the same gloves. Maybe that’s just me being a germaphobe but I personally won’t be ordering a sandwich if he’s working again. Also a lady that was behind me was watching him too and pretty sure she left because she saw all the things he was doing with those gloves.
Elizabeth the lady that works at night couldn't be friendlier nicer aND warm. We were short on our food. And she even kickin the money that we needed out of the kindness of her heart. Companies need to look at employees like her because she sets the standard for a great guest customer experience . Thanks Elizabeth we will be back!!
We had a loved one in Virginia Mason. We were looking for dinner. POTBELLY was closing not only did they stay open to make us sandwiches but they were the most kind and caring of any Seattle establishments that we encountered over the week that have been here. Their kindness made our week. Thank you we will pay it forward!
Very friendly and courteous service. Delicious sandwich options. Nice and clean shop. The staff make sure you get your food the way you want it. I have been here several time and have had great experience every time. Go check'em out!
Turkey club is 10/10 won't regret. Lacking condiments but if you're used to jimmy johns its pretty much the same deal. Meat quality really shines compared to other fast casual sandwich shops in my opinion.
Be careful ordering through Google maps for pick up. I went through the order, picking all my options. A big sandwich was not an option at first. So I picked all my toppings and multigrain bread. At the bottom, making it a big was an option. I clicked it and then hit order. Without being obvious when I hit make it a big, it reset all the topings and bread. So when I went and picked up my sandwich it had no topings at all and was on white bread. When I got back to My car and realized. I went back in and the employee was extremely nice and remade me what I wanted free of charge. But just be careful. If I had gotten to work before realizing I would have been very sad.
I eat here multiple times a week. I work in cap hill and it’s impossible to find a decent sandwich. Yes this is a chain but it’s great. The team here is also fantastic. Major shout outs to Aranza, the guy who always wears the Michael Jordan hate, the one lady with glasses who works the register, this other dude who is not as tall as Michael Jordan hat guy, and another woman who I don’t interact with a lot but who seems very nice. Also the hot peppers are incredible. I hope the team sees this and knows how much their regular customers appreciate their hard work and positive attitude. It is one of the most positive moments of my day to be recognized by everyone there. Also great app. Thank you Aranza!!!!
I come here for lunch when Subway isn't cutting it for me. Relatively cheap, fast, and pretty tasty. I hear their shakes are good too, though I've been trying to stay awake from them! Plenty of seating available every time I've gone.
Employees work really hard. But there is a clear shortage of staffs. Pickup orders have been delayed significantly, which used to be smooth even two months back. I have experienced this consistently(at least 5-6 times) and in some cases, I had to wait for half an hour in the store beyond the pick up time. Feel sad as this is one of my go-to store and I like the sandwiches.
