Horrible experience! I had my receipt and wanted to do a return they make is nearly impossible when you have the tags on them. Beware when making large purchases!

Don't expect them to do their jobs an hour before closing. I had 3 items, like new branded shoes (Demonias, XXHI Converse NEW IN BOX, and a pair of Mango over the knee boots), which they have a sign advertising they buy, and the chick at the counter wouldn't even give me a chance because it was an hour before closing. 3 items!!!! I made their job easy, even cleaned them, and she wouldn't even look at them. First time ever visiting and I'll never come back. I hope they're the next company to go bankrupt.

I recently visited Plato's Closet in Euless with several pairs of high-quality shorts from last season, barely worn and in great shape. These weren't just no name shirts, they were purchased from Buckle, Nordstrom, and other upscale retailers. They refused to take any of them, giving me the vague opinion that "certain styles we don't take” like it was a rehearsed speech. What made this experience particularly frustrating was that while I waited, I started browsing their women’s shorts section. It was really bad. I found numerous pairs of shorts in significantly worse condition than mine - frayed old Levi's, no-name or very old styles, and even Target brand shorts that were clearly of lower quality than what I had brought in. I was shocked that they had what they had in the racks and didn’t take mine which were last season’s from various upscale retailers. The inconsistency in their buying standards is baffling. Why reject well-maintained, brand-name items while accepting visibly worn, lower-end products? It seems their buying decisions are arbitrary at best. Save yourself the time and disappointment. There are other consignment options that actually value quality merchandise and offer fair compensation. This location's buying practices make absolutely no sense.

I was disappointed with my experience at Plato’s Closet. I brought in a brand-new men’s shirt with the original tags that retailed for around $60, and they only offered me $4. I understand they choose what they’re willing to pay, but that wasn’t even the biggest issue. The bigger problem was that they lost some of the clothes they decided not to buy. I brought everything in one organized bin. When I came back after getting the text that my order was ready for pickup, they only gave me one bag and my bin was empty. I knew I was missing a lot of clothes. They eventually found a second bag, but I was still missing items. They even showed me clothes that weren’t mine while trying to find my things. After waiting for quite a while, they finally found a third bag. This should never happen. If you receive a text saying your items are ready for pickup, everything should actually be ready. My advice is to carefully check all of the clothes they don’t buy before you leave the store to make sure you have everything. I hope they improve their organization so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

always an interesting experience. It is nice to be able to get clothes and shoes for an affordable price, but their overall company policy really bids so low on clothes when you try to sell them to them, so defn this store is more for buyers than sellers. You really can't expect to come away with a lot for your clothes, but then again I understand that makes sense. Beggars can't be choosers so I get that.
