Started a policy with them at the end of May. 2 weeks into June if that, I’m receiving a cancellation notice due to a Outstanding $200 balance from another insurance company. Nobody informed me that that could potentially change things before I paid my money and they think that they are going to have me pay on a policy that’s going to cancel days later absolutely not so it’s either they give me a refund or I’ll be seeing them in court.
Worst company ever, I got into an accident and they are telling me they can’t cover it because my policy ended and they told nobody about it not even me, they said they sent me several letters, but I told them I don’t check my mail like that to send me digital letters I get into an accident And tell them and they said they can’t cover me because my new policy was two hours after the accident, This company is basically a scam and I do not recommend it to anyone! If you do end up with them, God help you.
-0 stars if I could! Stay away. They will automatically sign you up for an insurance auto renewal and then proceed to send your report under $100 to the collection services!!! COMPLETE SCAM, absolutely fraud company stay away.
Got hit by a drunk driver 7/9/24. Luckily nobody else in my car was seriously injured. After a YEAR of long awaiting insurance approval... I recently got a letter saying that Pilgrim insurance will not cover anything (medical bills, car reimbursement, etc). It's a mix between HEARTBREAK & FRUSTRATION. This is a VERY BAD COMPANY. Do not fall for there fraudulent scams...
pilgrim auto insurance has been the worst experience, they do not return phone call, they took 3 1/2 weeks to inspect vehicle and then denies claim and are incapable of giving in any way or form a reason for denying clame. all i asked was what thye reason is and they dont have one. they are absolutely the worst insurance company.
Not my insurance, but I’m dealing with them because the other person who hit me has this insurance. An absolute nightmare! The only one I can pick out that has been responsive is Brian Whalen he was great. As far as the person I’m supposed to be directly dealing with his name is William Steinaway. I called and left a message two weeks ago and still no response. I also emailed and no response . Currently holding on the line and no one answers once again. I can’t even imagine having them as my insurance company. Stay away
They don't allow you to set up automated payments. You have to log on to the website each month and manually click a button to pay your premium. It's such a ridiculous user experience. Every other insurance/utility company supports automated payments in 2026.
I've been dealing with a claim process thru pilgrim insurance company and let me tell you that this company is the absolute worst! They don't call you back in a timely manner, they do not send the right information to your lien holder. Chase McDonald was my claim adjuster and I called her 5 times in a 3 week period and got no call back and she sent the wrong information to my lien holder!and now 2 months after my accident I'm still waiting for the process to be completed! And the 1 supervisor they have Greg Chaucy was very rude and was not willing to change the adjuster on my claim and told me that "I could've just used my own insurance and not dealt with them " even tho their insured driver was at fault! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES AND FRUSTRATIONS OF DEALING WITH INCOMPENTANT PEOPLE
Luke Reeve my adjuster, terrible worker, I couldn't get through to him for two weeks, never calls back. For some unknown reason he wrote me a check for $300 less than the auto repair shop requested, and now I can't wait for a month to pay me the full cost of the reparing. He didn't call the repair shop and seemed to have made up the amount covered out of his head. And instead of him I called between the insurance and the repair shop. Terrible company, don't work with them in your life!
Worst insurance company ever. Stay away from them....
