Got hit by one of their insured drivers, specifically Able Limousine. Just want to give other people a heads up; DOCUMENT EVERY INTERACTION. I got a Thomas Weulper as a claims representative. He claims he tried to call me to tell me to remove my undriveable vehicle from the body shop but “I didn’t answer.” I am a business owner, and I answer EVERY.SINGLE.PHONE call I get, 24/7. When I told him that, he then claims he sent me a letter to remove my undrivable vehicle from the body shop. I have saved every single letter I got from Pilgrim for a total of 4 letters. I saved them. The first three were from when the claim was made (1 addressed to my company introducing himself, 1 addressed to me personally introducing himself, and 1 addressed to me personally to fill out an accident questionnaire). The fourth letter was when he sent me a letter trying to get me sign him over rights TO MY COMPANY VEHICLE as a POWER OF ATTORNEY; after I specifically told him I will never do that and that I want my vehicle repaired to pre-existing condition. He agreed to let me keep the car and that they were going to pay me so I can fix my car. HE NEVER SENT ME A LETTER TO REMOVE MY VEHICLE FROM THE BODY SHOP. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. Thomas Welper is a liar. Thomas Welper messed with the wrong person’s car. HE WILL TRY TO GET OVER ON YOU.

Worst insurance company I ever dealt with in the 23 years I’ve been driving! They didn’t even want to contact the other parties insurance company when I was in an accident. The first time I spoke to my adjuster, she told me, you’re 100% at fault and that was it! I said, how about calling the other one Maura Co company bc at the very least it’s a 50/50 even the police officer at the scene said that it was as 50/50. The worst part was that I had to hire an attorney for my own insurance company Pilgrim to pay me for my vehicle when i pay for collision & comprehensive insurance and it’s not cheap! It took exactly 3 months to the day of the accident to get the money for my vehicle that was totaled! So if you’re thinking of going with Pilgrim Insurance, don’t! Run far away from this insurance company and don’t look back!

insurance company Pilligrim are real scammers! my car, which was towed by the towing company, after the accident, is on the territory of the towing company and every day there are $ 200 for it. my insurance company did not pay for the services of the towing company, but they sent me a threatening letter that you should have picked up your car a week ago and we will not pay for its parking at the towing company, and the towing company will not give me my car, until then until the insurance company pays the towing bill, or at least gives them a written guarantee of payment. don't mess with them !!!! they will try to deceive you in every possible way, confuse you, their work is not decent!

Got hit by a client of theirs, I’ve had better customer service at McDonald’s. The lady assigned to my case, Anna Gratta, legitimately never called me. I had to wait on hold every single time I needed to get info on how my car was going to be fixed. 3 weeks from the time my car got smashed to when I was able to get it fixed, and it was undriveable. These guys are terrible, and I’m sorry for anyone else who has to deal with them.

Worst company ever the Customer Service agents 80% of them are rude as hell and completely unprofessional

The car was legally parked, but their customer was drunk, was arrested and totaled my vehicle. Pilgrim still won't pay out over a month later. This company should be investigated for fraud.

This company will cancel your insurance if you cannot pay, they are terrible business with bad business practice. I called and asked if my over due insurance could be paid 3 days later than my notice of cancellation due date was because that’s when I was getting paid and because I couldn’t get the money by the due date even if it was only 2 days after their required date they said they will cancel my insurance And there’s nothing I can do about it if I can’t pay by their selected date. I don’t have the money until I get my paycheck and even though it’s only 2 days after the date they can’t reschedule my cancellation of insurance, terrible company I will be finding new insurance for my property.

I’m begging y’all people, do not get involved with pilgrim insurance. I asked my insurance agent to link me up with an insurance company that also allows me to do uber but he forgot and linked me up with pilgrim so I had to cancel because they don’t cover uber. So everything was canceled on Monday June 23rd of 2025 and they told me my refund should be mailed between 7 to 10 business days and today is Monday July 7th I still haven’t received anything yet. I called customer service about the matter and he told me that the policy was canceled on June 30th so it hasn’t been a full 7 or 10 business yet but he lied because the policy was canceled on June 23rd. That slipped through my mind because I couldn’t find the email with the cancellation policy. Once I found the email and confirmed that it was never on 30th and it was on the 23rd so I called again. I found a woman and I explained that the previous customer told me that the policy was canceled on the 30th when it was on 23rd and she said yes it was canceled on the 23rd but my refund will be sent out not until July 21st. Guys they just don’t want to give my money back. Imagine that jumped from 7 to 10 business days to one month now. It’s because I insisted then she just threw a date for me to shut up . This is worse worse worse experience ever. I don’t want y’all to go through that experience people so stay away from them because they’re no good.

If i could give lower stars i absolutely would, my policy was canceled for non payment after the payment was submitted cleared and then refunded by this company, i now need almost 3k for the down payment(90% of the policy cost) for a new insurence policy, with no notice and while trying to pay for a wedding, after disputing this through my agent for months I called directly and they regurgitated the same line for ten minutes, policy was canceled for non payment you can sign up for a credit card to pay for the new down-payment if like to though... legitimately the worst company I've ever had, the worst customer service I've ever had and the scummiest business I have ever dealt with. Absolutely do not insure anything you own through them because halfway through the policy they will take your money and tell you to screw

Had an awful experience with Nora in Claims. She was impossible to reach, then very rude when you could reach her. The auto body that repaired my car even mentioned that they were surprised at how unpleasant Pilgrim was to deal with. Their insured hit my parked car 🤔 and Nora said that I should be grateful they paid the repairs. I’d be grateful if their insured didn’t hit my car to begin with- I could’ve avoided this 3 month headache.
