Amazing place! They make a proper traditional cortado and their fancy pop tart was delicious. The staff were friendly and you can't beat the awesome location being in the super tall ceiling and ornate Union station.
They serve a delicious and beautiful mocha! I asked for it extra hot and it was indeed (you'd be surprised how often it isn't at coffee shops, even when requested).
One of the best coffee shop experiences I have ever had! I wish I got his name but the gentleman that helped us was phenomenal. He was so kind and bubbly; we could tell he really loved his job. Will definitely stop when we visit KC again.
I had an excellent latte here. The barista even made a little latte art tree on the foam! I wish I had tipped more. Coffee is better than Starbucks. The beans they are currently using have a citrus zest after and a fresh finish.
Me and my boyfriend love coming here each time we're at union station. The hot chocolate is delicious and the pumpkin muffin is to die for.
Great coffee. Staff is super friendly. Beautiful design on the coffee. Also in the spirit of the season they actually gave me a bag of espresso. I was taken back. I hope the manager knows what good service is. Blessings on this holiday season. Merry Christmas. God bless.
First, let's talk about the staff that are absolutely wonderful human beings!!!! Completely went out of the way to help me. The coffee is amazing. I loved my shot of espresso!!! I'm looking forward to trying the winter blend mix they just came out with at home!
Let's start with the coffee - that was very nice. The pastries not so nice, it was dry, lacked taste and overpriced, served with a complimentary side of zero personality from the staff. However what wins the extra star is the atmosphere of having a nice coffee relaxing inside the grand hall of this magnificent building. It is a prime location for sure, some seating with tables just outside the store front in a roped off section which is excellent. Unfortunately garbage was not cleaned from tables. Some seating around the side of the store front as well, should the front be full. Worth stopping for a coffee, however I would not recommend anything else.
This is a great place to chill and wait for your train / ride! I got there at 7:00 am, and the whole area was clean and tidy. You can sit at the tables out front or at the chairs in the little nook in the back. (The back was pretty quiet when I was there.) The workers were really nice and got my drink to me quickly. They have a great selection of hot teas, which was greatly appreciated! They also have free wifi that worked great. Overall, my only complaint is that they aren't open later!
Quaint coffee shop inside historic Union Station. Friendly staff and delish drinks. I had a hot and iced mocha and both were exactly what I needed. Very yummy and hit the spot.
