Stumbled upon this when we got off the streetcar looking for a good place for the family to eat. Lots of menu options from all day breakfast to burgers and sandwiches at the cafe window. Plus espresso drinks and smoothies at the coffee bar. Everything was delicious, staff was very friendly and accommodating, even with my young children.
Coffee place upstairs is great. The food joint here is awful. We ordered a turkey omelet and biscuits with gravy. The turkey omelet was a huge let down because the use packaged sandwich turkey. The biscuits were burnt so I had order remade, the reorder was possibly worse. The biscuits were cold, crumbly, and way over seasoned. The gravy was over salted to compensate for the lack of flavor. So in short don't eat here but do buy coffee from the upstairs place.(upstairs is 3 steps)
Wow, wow, wow.... what a cool concept for a hangout spot. There is something for everyone. I went there for coffee and had no idea it was a food grill, ice cream shop, bar, and coffee shop. This was such a treat and the coffee was delicious.
Neat experience, good food and friendly service! We came for brunch so we didn’t get to take advantage of all the surrounding city amenities but loved the views.
Great place! Drinks were awesome! Atmosphere really relaxed! I had Strawana smoothie. You can taste the strawberry and banana all on there!
I really wanted to like this place and all that it had to offer. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Biscuits were very strange tasting and I could barely eat them. Coffee drink was weak and overly milky. Large group tried many different menu items and unfortunately no one was overly pleased.
It is a fun and lively place to get a good meal at a reasonable price. Everyone on staff the day I stopped in was polite, friendly, answered any questions I had about the menu. My food was delicious and came out in a timely manner.
The food was fantastic! The atmosphere was very old times and calming I really enjoyed the quiet time with my friend while we enjoyed breakfest I strongly recommend the garden Benedict! The eggs where cooked perfectly and you could tell the spinach was fresh!
Lots of good vibes in this spot, nice ambiance and atmosphere and one of the best paninis in KC. (I had the Turkey Club) The staff is sweet as well.
I do so adore this little hidden treasure. Everyone is so great, the food and treats are top notch.. but the coffee is what we go for! Best I've had in quite some time, and I drink ALOT of coffee. Especially with a scone that is also one of Kansas City's best. Cool atmosphere... no matter what time of day or night.
