Love the vintage & eclectic vibes in this space! Love the concept of multiple options for bakery, grill, coffee, & bar all with multiple seating & lounging areas! Perfect for an afternoon snack - found fresh macarons & they were super yummy!
Coffee station is absolute mess. When it gets busy they just put the drinks at the pickup station out of order and don't say what it is loud enough to hear so you have to figure out what it is by the scribbles on the cup. I was waiting after it calmed down to say I have not gotten my drink yet, but none of the baristas seem to care that there was a person still waiting without a drink. Terrible coffeehouse experience. Also ordered veggie breakfast burrito and veggie omelette. Burrito was very greasy inside and didn't have much flavor and omelette had absolutely no taste. The potatoes that came with it were OK, but I think that's because they were frozen. Really don't get all the positive reviews. You CAN go wrong with breakfast items (response to another review)

Awesome gem in City Market. It's right off the KC Streetcar, which makes for easy access. The atmosphere is top notch - neat art all over, and feels very personal. They have every kind of coffee, smoothie, soda, and juice under the sun, and the food is wonderful and thoughtfully made. Plus, for those with a sweet tooth, the on-site bakery seals the deal. They even have a full bar for late night vibes, and are open 7 days a week. If you're looking for something to do in KC, make sure Opera House is on your list.
Came here this morning and was not disappointed. I think the gravy (I ordered a side for my omelette) is possibly the best homemade gravy I've ever had. My omelette was delicious and my family enjoyed their meals as well. Coffees and smoothies were fantastic and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Definitely a place I'd return to.
Love this spot but the wait can be painful for food. Today we ordered 2 sandwiches to go and waited 35 minutes for the prep.
My favorite thing to order is a taro milk tea or chai tea latte, but the drink menu has something for everyone. The food is also good, and you can't go wrong with any of the breakfast options. Cool place!
Great vibes here and awesome place to work remotely or take clients to a meal! The food and drinks are amazing. I tried the chorizo fiesta omelette with side of fruit, as well as an apple pecan salad for lunch, it was all so fresh and yummy! I also had a piña colada smoothie to go with lunch, outstanding! ❤️🔥
Relaxed atmosphere with good views of the City Market and street car. They have a great selection of Coffee, Tea, Smoothies and Fresh Juices. Breakfast is served all day - we ordered the Biscuit Sausage & Egg Sandwich, Pancakes and Porker Omelet.
Delightful experience! Food was delicious and the atmosphere was very laid back and quaint. I will definitely return several times, in the near future! 10/10 for sure, for the scrumptious selections of food they have to offer, and, they have a coffee house with a few bakery treats a the case, attached to the other side to the establishment, as well... WHAT!!??!! Such a cool place. The staff was TOP notch with service and hospitality. Just an overall win! Highly recommend trying! Thanks, Opera House, you made me feel at home that day!
