It’s very hard to give this place a good rating when they never even brought out the food. Ordered an appetizer which was a simple bruschetta and a large pizza tell me why we waited 40 minutes and not even the appetizer was placed on the table. Could also hear employees at the bar saying that the kitchen is a hot mess right now which made us decide to walk out which is something we hardly ever do but we are not being held hostage for food that may take over an hour to come out. Unacceptable and especially on a Saturday you would thing they have better kitchen staff to not have egregious wait times or also have staff not discuss problems on the dining room floor. Not the mellow mushroom I grew up eating at very disappointed.

Siobhan is an amazing server. She has always been attentive whenever I come in and really raises the vibe with her smile and good humor. If I could request her every time I would because she is so genuine but also knowledgeable about the menu. Girl is the epitome of excellent customer service!

Brandon was amazing! Honestly our favorite waiter so far! I love this place. We come every other week to play trivia and the food always hits the spot. The vibe is great for families or individuals who just want to hang and eat pizza. Definitely come check it out.

First time here and the atmosphere, service and food are tremendous! Celebrating Father's Day with my family. Will definitely return and recommend to everyone. Misty Rocks! ✊🏾😎🇺🇸🎉🎊

Mmmnmum uhnnmmm nmmuhh ĥhhumnn... Had to start this review whilst devouring the deliciousness-ness! This was a rarity when everything was just right: The weather, the other people there eating, the aromas in the restaurant, the food, the drinks, and the waitresses. I was feeling pizza! I ordered the rolls and calzone. It was preceded by the enlightened spinach salad which was rummaging! I knew at some point I needed to get a stomach ache fitting in all the food I wanted inside my belly. Mellow Mushrooms did that darn- thing. I took my time. This was my day off and I have absolutely no regrets. I'm heading back for there "Maui Wowie" - meet me there!

Giving 5 stars because while the food was delicious and the other people in the restaurant were kind and I wouldn’t want to leave 1 star for just one, 1 star server. Just because there is one bad apple doesn’t make the place bad. However I will never sit with her again. Kayla, the server was very rude. Had a nasty attitude when I questioned her about my tab. She was being smart and unprofessional because I was genuinely confused about what was included on the tab . Let me preface it wasn’t what she said it was her delivery. Her tone. Her facial expressions. Etc. She was like “that’s why you get the tab and you see it and you agree to it and then pay.” *with a side of attitude, eye rolls, bad tone, and more smart comments to follow* In my head I’m like - *no duh I know that.* Out loud I did say “No need to be smart that is why I was asking as I was paying so I could understand all what was included on the tab, and because we are frequent customers our total is always the same, and this one time we come it looks different.” She would have been tipped more if it wasn’t for her poor attitude and response. Oh and not to mention the looks she was giving the kids. Who were being none the less- kids. I do also want to stress I am not looking for anything for free from this. I did also speak to a manager regarding her behavior, and I believe he will address it, however I did feel the need to leave a review because she left her review card on the table with her name on it. Her attitude definitely needs to be checked. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what the matter was, but she shouldn’t be talking to people ugly when there was nothing but genuine questions and curiosity as to why the check may have looked different from the 50 hundred other times we have came. When I’m met with smart comments instead of explanation with reason, I question her experience when handling tough situations.

Please note, This review isn’t taken lightly! Coming from someone who has worked in the industry for over 10 plus years in my younger years, it’s a very annoying habit I can’t get rid of now that every where I go I naturally notice a ton of things when it comes to servers and bartenders. (I actually hate how I’m always critiquing service when I go places but it happens after working in the industry for so long) Not only was my ex-husband highly impressed, especially because him and I are foodies and have visited a ton of restaurants, but when we both got the bill and discussed what this server Brandon should get, it was an easy hands down tip him very well and very well we did! When I say we tipped him 50 percent of what our bill was ,it’s not an exaggeration! I haven’t been this impressed with a server in YEARS! While mellow mushroom does have some great food, the Ambience and the service elevated our experience beyond what we ever expected tonight! If you are out there looking for an evening to just simply relax while being taken care of. Hands down, don’t miss you’re chance! Ask for Brandon! Yes the food was good, but his service blew us away! He gets an 11 out of 10 service! The food was delicious : we ordered the Greek rolls (best thing we ordered) wings (ask for them well done tho) pizza , we don’t think we got the right one but it was good, and the Greek salad , delicious. I can’t say enough great things about this particular location but especially the service! Brandon , not many servers stand out to us, but you always will now! Thank you! 🙏

THAT THAI-DYE PIZZA THO!!! Best thing I’ve ever had. And the service is always impeccable, especially when we get lucky and get Siobhan as our server (she always remembers we like tea with no fruit and of course, a Thai-dye pizza). I have nothing but great things to say about this location <3

Nice atmosphere, but very long wait time. Mellow Mushroom Pizza in Jacksonville has a cozy and welcoming vibe, and the fire truck inside is a great attraction for kids. The food was good once it arrived, but the wait time was over an hour, which felt excessive for dine-in guests. We noticed the kitchen was very busy with to-go orders, but the delay for those of us eating at the restaurant was still too long.
