Seriously disorganized. No depth or human element with the onboarding. Brady was unresponsive and Tasmine was downright rude. Not sure how they make money or get people jobs. So many random emails making the whole process confusing. And this is what the state uses to get substitute teachers into the classroom 🤔

I’ve only been working for Teachers On Call since February, but I have already had such a wonderful experience. Whenever I call, the staff is so positive and ready to help with whatever I need. Finding subbing jobs is quick and easy. I would recommend Teachers On Call to anyone looking for subbing opportunities.

I was a substitute teacher before my school districts transitioned to using Teachers On Call, and I’ve been very happy since becoming a part of the TOC substitute community. Teachers On Call made the initial “on-boarding” process very smooth and easy. Their introduction meeting was helpful, and each encounter and phone call I’ve had with TOC staff has been very friendly and efficient. TOC is connected to various school districts which opens the door for more job opportunities once you are a TOC sub. They sometimes e-mail a list of job opportunities before the regular substitute system shows them, and they also notify subs of long-term opportunities. TOC provides optional training/professional development opportunities both online and in-person. There are many topics to choose from and it’s a great plus to continue growing as an educator! I also appreciate that TOC pays every Friday for the previous week’s work – it has been very helpful to have a more consistent paycheck and not have to wait 2-3 weeks. Overall, I think TOC is great for helping substitute teachers feel more acknowledged and supported as they provide extra communication and benefits to us. I enjoy working as a substitute as I get to have experiences in a variety of grade levels and schools while having flexibility in my schedule. It is rewarding to know I am helping teachers and students as a substitute teacher, and TOC has enhanced my subbing experience!

As a new substitute teacher, Teachers on Call assisted greatly in getting right to work. Their online platform made it easy to customize the teaching jobs, and the additional benefits and online courses supported continual development. Highly recommend

The hiring process was extremely quick and easy. I was able to accept my first assignment as soon as all the paper work was finished. The staff at Teachers On Call were extremely helpful and quick to respond. I highly recommend TOC.

If I could give this zero stars I would! Horrible unprofessional reps that could care less, except that they get a check each month. They offered no help as I'm a semi-retired professional teacher with a current teachers license and schools who still employ me as a substitute teacher. As a semi retired I only could provide the last two supervisors who i worked for the past 7 years. before that I owned a restaurant for 20 years. I subbed several years before my last job but the references are either moved away or dead! Therefore i couldn't get my application processed as they require 4 references. How dumb! They the system that requires 4 refs passed the buck back to TOC from this company who had no clue on a solution???? Go figure.
