Who Owns K&D Development?
K&D Development is co-owned by Damaris Reeme and Kurtis Reeme. Damaris began her career in 2013 by remodeling her grandfather's home and expanding her rental properties. She pursued higher education, earning an Associate's Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting from Arapahoe Community College in 2017, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University. Her passion for construction led her to establish K&D Development. Kurtis graduated from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Construction Management. Raised in a family of general contractors, he gained extensive experience managing over 3,500 new residential constructions and later transitioned into custom remodels and full home builds.

The whole K&D team were great. Very quick to communicate and easy to get ahold of. Our project manger Cesar was awesome. Would definitely recommend based on their level service and attention to details.
K&D Development did an outstanding job. They went well beyond the original scope of work, taking the time to touch up several additional items for me at no extra cost. Their attention to detail and willingness to make sure everything was done right really stood out. What impressed me most was their professionalism and commitment—even working through an all-day power outage to keep the project moving. Communication was solid, the work was high quality, and they clearly take pride in what they do. I’d absolutely recommend K&D Development and would gladly work with them again.
K&D Development did a great job on ceiling replacement, large patio replacement, master bathroom shower and walls, and painting of bedrooms. Frank Ramos, who managed the jobs, was easy to work with. I would use this company again.
My team and I flip residential homes in Colorado and have worked with many contractors. We love being able to depend on companies like K&D Development because they make our flipping process incredibly smooth. No project is without it’s hiccups but I know it will never truly be a problem when we’re working with K&D because both Mike (the project manager we worked with) and Kurtis (one of the owners) will be on top of it; always in open communication with us. The quality of work is excellent and the pace of progression is something I personally was impressed with; we completed before my projected timeframe so thumbs up all around. 10/10 will work with K&D Development again.
K&D Development was amazing during the entire duration of my project. Evan, the project manager, was very responsive to all my questions and concerns, and easy to communicate at any time of the day. From the start of the the insurance claim to the final move-in and cleaning, K&D made sure that all the details were covered. I would recommend K&D for any project, whether it is a small update to a full remodel!
K&D Development did an amazing job on our remodel! Cesar was always there to make sure things were going well, if there was a problem he solved it quickly and made sure everything looked perfect before leaving. Santiago had such great attention to detail with the trim and painting. Honestly can't say enough good things about them, will definitely use them again for any projects.
My experience working with K&D exceeded all expectations. From the initial consultation and bid through to the end of the project, every employee was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and willing to share their expertise with me so I understood all aspects of the project. Communication was transparent and frequent. My kitchen renovation turned out beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about K&D and would rehire them in a heartbeat.
K&D Development was such a wonderful company to work with. John Canada headed the team that worked so hard to renovate my home after a water leak. He worked tirelessly to get everything back together so my home was beautiful and sound when they were done. Thank you to John and his team and to K&D Development! You all went above and beyond to make things wonderful!
I worked with Frank and his team at K&D to get my roof repaired after hail damage. After being low balled by insurance Frank and his team were able to fight to not only get enough for my roof but other damage the insurance company was not willing to cover in the initial adjustment. Once stated the work was quick and painless. The final result was beyond my expectations. I recommend K&D to anyone needing home repairs. 5 Stars!
We had allot of issues with our house and the insurance compony that we had. K&D did a amazing job. They helped with the insurance company and everything in between. Their work is great and never question anything you ask. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone that needs anything done with their home. All the photos are before and after.
