Jungle House - Luxury Stays

This company is extremely unprofessional and outright incompetent at times. I stayed in one of their City Park Avenue rentals. Absolutely terrible “automated” communication about check-in and deposit payments; housekeeping was still cleaning the house for 35 minutes after check-in time; they tried to make me wait outside, but it started pouring down rain, so I came in, and then immediately realized that whatever they were using to clean the floors was irritating my throat and nose. Because of this phlegm and irritation in my throat, I ended up struggling to sleep that night. The next night, I tried to sleep in a different bedroom just to see if I would sleep better overall, and lo and behold, there were loud mechanical noises from the laundry room. Huge gaps/damage in the upstairs floorboards. The outside stairs landing is rusting away and has two rusted holes through which you can see the ground below. The bathroom fixtures are cheaply and poorly installed and I am worried the shower curtain rod will fall at any time.

The house was roomy and clean. Great place to stay and really nice and safe neighborhood. Had no problem walking to and from a few restaurants and bars even in the late evening. Hosts were responsive and were always there to answer texts with necessary information and assistance. Great place to stay and we will be back!

Not a bad stay overall. In my opinion, it made due but could have been more clear basically fight for your own parking and no tv in the room. It was comfortable nonetheless! The host was excellent btw.

Unexpectedly required $60 or $300 as a security deposit for property damage upon arrival. You cannot get the $60 back even if there is no property damage. You cannot get the door code without paying. You pay this through an app they send you, I used my debit card to pay it and then deleted my debit card and uploaded my credit card in its place. I unexpectedly added a guest and included her information as required for an additional charge. They claim I violated their policy and charged my debit card not the card on file. I asked them to fix this and they said no. They absolutely refuse. They charged me a violation fee instead of the correct guest fee, saying they saw the third guest on their cameras…WHEN I ADDED HER BEFORE I EVER SET FOOT IN THEIR HOUSE. they refuse to return my money and charge the correct credit card. They will also not give me an itemized receipt to be reimbursed for a work trip. I would not be writing this if they would just do the right thing. Also their Photos are confusing and you cannot tell that you will be staying on a third floor attic and have to go to the Time you have to use the bathroom or all the way to the first floor for any kitchen facilities they mix up photos from their other listings and Into one listing so you don’t actually know where you are staying. I would not recommend this based on customer service principles alone. Though the photos are cute, it was a trap.

Amazing place to stay for Columbus! The place was super clean, A/C, and in the prime area for many attractions. Additionally, the staff constantly reaches out to make sure everything is good and always communicating! I really enjoyed my stay and would really highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience Columbus for its beauty and attractions.

The house was warm, clean, and felt like home the moment we walked in. Everything was comfortable and had what we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved the peaceful vibe and how beautiful the place was. Highly recommend it, we’d definitely stay here again.

Such a cute place!! Loved the vibe. The plants were great. The house felt very “green” as far as air quality and products. The bed was comfy and we truly appreciate the last minute accommodations!! Will totally stay again!! Thank you so much, Doug and Rae

Great little place with a nice little kitchen. Very clean and in a nice area with bars nearby. Parking is on the street, so be aware of that if you have a large vehicle. We stayed here and ubered to Sonic Temple, which was great. We will definitely be staying at one of the Jungle House properties if we go to Sonic Temple again. Plus, they give you a discount if you book another stay within a year!

If you're looking to be central to hundreds of activities in the city, this is a perfect location. We walked everywhere we went. It's situated right next to Goodale Park, with easy access to the highway. The house is three floors and contains all of the extras you need to have an easy stay. Very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We didn't encounter any issues, but the Jungle House staff stayed in communication during the process, so I knew we'd be able to reach someone if we did! We had a great time celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday 🎂 Thank you Jungle House!
