Always clean and organized. Prices are reasonable. Goods are in pretty good shape. Employees are always polite even if they are dead tired. Good vibes there. I still feel that way about Goodwill.
I arrived at this location 6 minutes before closing on Friday evening. I only needed to pay for an $45 item that I had seen earlier in the day. The doors were locked and several employees hanging out around the cash registers just looked at me and shrugged their shoulders and mouthed that they were closed. When a business post their hours of operation the doors should remain open for business no matter how many minutes before closing it may be. I wasted my time, money, and energy. Make no mistake, they lost a sale and any future sales because I will never shop here again.
So personally growing up we always shopped at the goodwill, but now that I’m an adult, I don’t shop at the goodwill but I do donate to the goodwill. I went in the store just to see if I can find a pair of blue jeans & I was beyond disappointed, the jeans was $10 and I feel like that is extremely high for something that was donated to y’all for FREE!!! I literally turned around & walked out, went to a regular store because I’m going to get a brand new pair of jeans for at least $12-15 from Burlington or citytrends, definitely was disappointed, I feel like this world is overly greedy because there’s no way free jeans should be over $5, especially used and ashy jeans lol just saying. Let’s do better, the goodwill is supposed to be of HELP.
I bought a very nice recliner for my grandkids here. I went out side to pull my car closer. A employee was walking out and said they was close as I was walking up to the door. I replied I have an item that I've already purchased. She keep walking. I seen a male employee inside right by the window. I stated beating on the window telling him that was my recliner. He look at me and keep moving on. I beat harder. He ignored me. Finally the cashier that sold me the recliner told someone about me . The male employee put my recliner outside the door. I stated I would like my money back. He laugh in my face. So I beat some more a Manger came open the door. I told her how rude he was to me . He still was laughing in my face. I started recording at this point. I received my money back and store credit. I have not been back to that store since. I still have my store credit but don't want to see that employee
For me, this store is more of a miss. It’s cheaper than some other good wills, but I don’t find things that are my style. Sometimes they have some cool home decor, I’ve seen vintage wood cribs, vintage sewing machine that’s built into desk, & other vintage decor but rarely actually get anything
I'm an experienced thrift shopper and this is my go to store for several reasons...kid clothes are fairly priced, but you have to sort through to find new items donated by local retailers. I'm careful to price new items with my phone, if it is not discounted I don't buy. The store is clean and staff is mostly friendly. I find some of the prices are high...for example jeans, and anything with a popular brand name seems to be marked higher no matter the condition, which I find bit opportunistic since they were donated! With that said... there are bargains to be found! If you shop new retail online or in store often enough you can recognize quality brands with patience and frequent visits.
Boots are my obsession and I ALWAYS manage to find new to me barely worn cute boots. Then I shop around for the perfect top or outfit to go with them. The 50% off tag sales are usually good too. I've taken several friends there and we always find them the perfect outfit
I almost always find something great. Today we found several great items! It's an adventure to go through the racks and customers seem to find it easy to leave a mess in the dressing rooms. But that said, it is a good way to save a few bucks and help out a good cause.
I love this goodwill, I always find the greatest things!! The organization is not so great, it's a bit messy. I always gotta be careful not to break something since things are stacked on top of each other and the big frames are always stacked on top of each other and while I'm trying to look at them, I have to literally organize them myself. That is a bit frustrating but I'm always pleased when I leave, due to finding some goodies!!! Hopefully they can get the store organized better and find an employee who enjoys and takes pride in setting things up nice and neat ;)
This is one of the cleaner second hand stores in the area. It's definitely a family-friendly environment. I always see people bring their kids. They also have good furniture and small appliances. The prices are very well-marked and easy to see. Weekends are definitely the busiest around midday but during the week the lines are usually short.
