We love finding unusual things here. This place was organized and the staff was nice and helpful. Nothing really out of the norm of a Goodwill. They have a large selection though because their space was large.
Zero cooperation when I tried to donate higher end furniture in perfect condition. Have to wonder how much they're short-changing those in need in SA
For being a place that prides themselves on helping others and doing it out of the goodness of their hearts, this location has begun charging to park. I haven't enjoyed seeing how much Goodwill has changed it's business model and increased prices but this definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. They make you pay unless you spend a certain amount at that store and then it becomes "free parking." The associates aren't as friendly at this location either but maybe I just went on a bad day. I will say, I did find a sport coat I was looking for as part of a Halloween costume so luckily that worked in my favor. Other than that, the charge makes you feel compelled to make a purchase. Also the parking attendant rushes out to you when you are walking to your vehicle to see your receipt to make sure you made that purchase.
The Manager Brianna was amazing in returning cash to me after the previous employee forgot to give me half off of the bike helmets I bought. She was decisive and courteous. I loved all the stuff that I purchased. Thank you!
THEY FORCE YOU TO BUY SOMETHING TO PARK & SHOP THERE. This place is scammy Edit: The response from GW is laughable. I live downtown and I can walk to this location. One time though I pulled in, they don’t even tell you that you have to pay to park this old man was out there just ushering people in and then giving them slips. I asked if we had to pay to park but since I was shopping I was told no. I didn’t find anything I liked after shopping so I went to my car only to be told I needed my parking validated in which they only do if you BUY something. The worst part was the old man saying ‘yeah you have to pay for parking in the city’ as if it’s normal to pay to shop at goodwill.
I won a bid on Shop GoodWill, it's been more then a month and have not received it. I tried calling and can't get through, talk to fed ex and they tell me that when picking up item it was damaged so. I wasn't given a refund
I liked shopping at this thrift shop. I bought two slack pants and two polo shirts. Each item was priced at $4.79. ***Excellent bargains and friendly staff. I feel great that parking is free. Don't forget to buy some ice cold sodas and chil snacks.🦋❤🦋
I bought a small piece of clothing, and the lady told me i was getting 15% seniors discount, but was not giving me the 15% seniors discount at all! She even asked me for my ID to see how old I was. The item was orange tagged, so 50% off their already too high a price. It came out $3.14. I asked the lady why she wanted my ID if was not going to give me the discount. They have help that does not know what she is doing!
Well-lit, well-organized store typical Goodwill. A little pricey compared to most thrift shops. Still a bargain though when you consider what retail prices would have been for what I bought. The gals behind the counter were very helpful. If you have to be downtown and you need to go to the thrift shop this one's pretty good.
FREE PARKING, Very SATISFIED with their parking arrangement, get your parking ticket validated at the register, and the parking is free. I found a cute pink fuzzy zip-up hoodie, a ghost busters costume (everyone wished they found it first), T shirts, and an old Speak N Spell, I had one in the early 80's.
