Very poor selection. Most items overpriced. Don’t waste a trip to downtown for mediocre items.
Gotta hand it to the staff at this store, they are on top of things! I went last weekend looking for scrimshaw, but one of the workers there -- I think his name was Philip -- noticed I was wearing Dr. Martens and asked my shoe size. I told him 12, and he directed me to a practically new pair of Dr. Martens in my size. I was able to get a great value on shoes in immaculate condition for a low, low price. That kind of keen, eagle eyed attention to detail and proactive commitment to customer satisfaction is truly impressive!!! Also, yeah, parking sucks, but it's downtown, parking everywhere sucks. You can't exactly blame Goodwill for the dunder-headed decisions of our airhead city planners. Most of them don't even park downtown, they have personal drivers so they don't get DUIs at 7AM.
Staff is rude. Even the elder ones. They say they don’t speak Spanish but they have a nopal over their face. So disappointed of Latin people. I mean, you are located in a city where Spanish is spoken Lol
This place literally ripped me off for $30. Two weeks ago I bought a cordless vacuum cleaner ($20) and it did not work even after an employee said that they test every electronic device. I took it back within 7 days with the tag and they would not take it back. The cashier told me that she could see the item on their computer past inventory. Then today this happens again I bought a computer monitor($10) that didn't work so I return it with the receipt and once again they would not take it back. Literally GW is stealing from customers. Not only are most of their inventory donated but overpriced and defective. How do you people live with yourselves stealing from people. What a shame. A complaint with the downtown city should be submitted. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION THEY WILL PICK POCKET YOU WITH LITTLE TO NO REMORSE!!!!!!!!
Downtown San Antonio’s Goodwill Store and Donation Station is a great spot to drop donations in SATX!! The staff make it very easy to drop your items quickly + efficiently!
Awesome place to find nice clothes and household items! It is a smaller store and it is clean and organized. They have pretty cool finds at a good price! I always find awesome items here from dishware to clothing! The cashiers have always been courteous in my experience. The parking is convenient and free if you stay under 1 hour and show the parking attendent your Goodwill receipt! Check them out, I know you will leave with a bagful of cute clothes and vintage treasures!
We got an incredible deal on 90s VHS tapes that were never taken out of their plastic wrap. Great friendly staff. Well laid out.
I've frequented this goodwill for the last three years, and I just love the staff. They've been so cheery, helpful, and friendly. I feel my review is over due actually! Love these guys! (If y'all are reading this I've given up on finding that other shoe)
This location is for profit only. They operate on shop goodwill and set unrealistic shipping and handling fees for items that don’t even weigh a pound. The most unhelpful and unorganized location, constantly losing items and then trying to keep your money. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! 0/10 would not recommend
The staff were so friendly and would help with anything. Compared to the goodwill at my home town, this one is amazing. The selections they had and it was all organized. Also this is the only goodwill ive ever seen religious shirts and that made my entire week.
