Why is it so hard to find anything in this store?? I wish there was a kiosk you could type what you're looking for and it would tell you the aisle. Both employees I asked steered me wrong. And why don't they take your groceries out to the car anymore? Especially for older folks. They used to have a drive up option but closed it. What happened to customer service?? Old Mr. Meyer would be disappointed.
Several instances of being treated very poorly by staff or seeing them treat others poorly
It was a Fred Meyer with its own parking garage! Mind blow, wallet however unharmed. I will be back.
If your car clearance is over 6'8", the parking can suck. You can easily miss the turn in, and if you can't find parking as you drive, though, you have to literally make a whole loop around blocks to get back to try and find parking.
One of the things I liked about this Freddy's is that they always seem to have ample registers open. Maybe it's just the time of day I go there, but I have yet to be caught up in a long line.
Ok if you park on the lower parking lot. The upper parking lot is one story above the shopping area. Not bad if you are younger. Store is nice as would be expected at all Fred Meyer stores.
Small store on small property. The parking is always a challenge, and the store layout takes some time to get used to. They keep it clean and stocked. The security has targeted me a few times, making my visits a little frustrating. Most recently, the security kept popping up. During a 5 minute visit, I encountered him 3 times and then had him stand next to me at the self checkout. I gave him no reason to think I was stealing, and I do quite well, so I have no reason to steal. Guess sweat pants and a hoodie make you a security risk.
Decent, but they don't have any clothing or shoes
Ever since Kroger krogered Fred Meyer, I haven't enjoyed shopping there. I only stop in if it's absolutely necessary. I much prefer stores where people look happy to be there and that hasn't been Fred Meyer in a long time. On the upside I did discover a really good sparkling rosé. I highly recommend it. It's the portlandia brand. It was like $12.99 and drank like a much more expensive bottle
Ever since Covid Customer service at retail locations in Portland has been shit. No one is rude by any means but no one asks how you’re doing/ if you need anything. They avoid eye contact. When I was at Kroger it was different, maybe I’m just an old man at 35 nowadays.
