Register and all the way to the back of the fridge for the meats in producers that's how long the line was for three of the lines they need a find a way to take care of that problem overall all the cashiers they are doing the best

3rd week on a row they don’t have enough shopping carts and you’ll need to wait until someone it’s done with the cart to get one a waste of time

I compare all other grocery store prices against Foods Co to see if I'm being overcharged. Foods Co is consistently the cheapest place to buy anything canned, bagged, boxed, or bottled -- I have to make a special call out for their baking supplies . . . INCREDIBLE! They had 2 bags of All-purpose Flour (5lb bags) for only $5! And 2 for $4 for their brown sugar the last time I went. You won't find those prices anywhere else. Their produce isn't always the cheapest or the freshest, nor are their meat options very inspiring - I prefer Grocery Outlet for those. And honestly, Safeway is cheaper than any of these retailers for several items namely dairy products, meats, and produce if you use the Safeway app and clip the digital deals the day you go shopping. The lines here are usually very long, which sucks and also adds a lot of pressure on the shopper to transact quickly at the cash register, and there are no "self-checkout" options. So if you don't like stressful grocery shopping, I would consider another retailer -- at least in San Francisco. But if you're on a budget and need deals, this is your store.

Well I am leaving here with everything I needed for a total around $175- which is under budget so I am happy. Wishing the lines were faster is my only complaint. See you next time. Have a great day.

They usually have 2 line open on busy days. Youll be waiting 30min plus. The person at the register usually gets side step and have to help out the other cashiers. This makes you wait longer.

This place has decent prices, they almost never have more than 3 cashiers working. It's always busy so forget about getting in and out.

Very reasonable price better than other grocery store

Expect to wait 30-60 min to check out at virtually any time of day. They almost always have only 2 cashiers (and no self check out) and often 50-60+ people waiting to check out. Their management should be embarrassed and the regular egregious understaffing. I frankly don’t know how this is acceptable customer service to any part of the Kroger brand. I don’t think their more reasonable prices can justify this consistently horrible customer experience anymore. Today’s wait: 41 min from getting on a line to check out and making it to a cashier to begin the process. Last visit was 47 min (at 9 pm)! AVOID this store if you value your time (or if you expect a well stocked, clean environment to shop for groceries in). If you do shop there, be kind to the cashiers… it’s not their fault they work for incompetent retail management.

I went to food co with my boyfriend Kenny and they only had paper bags without handles. It was packed, even for a weekday before 5pm. Good prices though
