- Building security officers and building employees are clearly audible in the blocks surrounding this location. - There is audible interior building activity from upper floors to street in surrounding blocks and immediate block. - Building security officers and employees stalk and harass select pedestrians and visitors of the property by monitoring from unknown vantage point. - Said persons direct crude verbal commentary with amplification/modulation of their voice through nearby machines and engines (seemingly building generator or HVAC system). - Said persons intentionally and as group menace people who request the activity cease. - Persons initiate disingenuous emergency phone calls and author disingenuous complaints about people who vocally object to the activity. - Persons associated with building threaten visitors who can overhear building activity with criminal charges of eavesdropping, despite the building activity being audible in surrounding blocks and immediate building block, and despite verbal objections to parties audible on street. - Persons claim they will contact Portland Police Bureau officers to enforce disingenuous complaints, despite party seemingly cause of activity related to complaints. Nuisance building.
The gentleman at the bar was helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered from the Mexican place. Tacos were okay, we wished there were more options. The chips and salsa was great
Gray selection of foods in a great location. Great sliding doors open the entire court to the outside with seating in the sun !
this is a good court. we tried hk bistro and pan roast. got the combo seafood bisque from pan roast for TWENTY EIGHT dollars. Legitimately the second saltiest thing I have ever had, just behind the disgusting pho from 24 miles pho hour in Austin Texas. This was so salty it kind of burned my tongue. I want you to understand that I love salt. I have been told by my friends that I make things to salty for them routinely... but this shit gave me a chemical burn. The map tofu from hk bistro, despite saying it was very spicy and named "mapo if you dare" tofu was bland. as was the also claiming to be spicy cucumber salad. The mapo tofu had no meat in it :(. The guy at the bar was nice and the beer was good. but otherwise parking sucks the food is overpriced you use tablets to order and the few things we tried were some straight up bullshit. 2 stars instead of 1 because the bar and bartender are solid.
I ate at HK Bistro and I felt completely ripped off. I got the duck and the whole plate was cold and the duck was 50% bone and bland. I paid a premium for mediocre food, not the Portland food scene I’m used to.
The wine guy, Steven, is so cordial and helpful. I give him a five stars plus! If you enjoy white wine, try Steven’s Amity White Pinot Noir. It’s a stellar wine..cheerful, dry, and with a delicious finish. Worth going to Flock!
It was a terrible experience. Super small space with only 6 options. There was no seat available and line was so long. We were about o order and someone came and said half of the food court will be closed for some private event. When I asked if I could enter that area to order food. The answer was no. And they were still in the middle of finding a solution for people to order food. Food items were over priced. Never coming back again.
Don’t believe the hype. I had high hopes for Flock but was let down by greasy overpriced food. Really the only thing this place has going on is its location. It’s a shiny penny but don’t be fooled. I watched video after video of PDX food influencers talking about how good the food was. Don’t fall for the lies. It’s a fancy over priced food court with mediocre food. 😢
This was a great place to grab food with friends and coworkers.
Sadly I have to admit that we were disappointed in "Portland's premier food hall." Maybe we just set our expectations too high in the hopes that some of the amazing food carts that were kicked out to make way for the Ritz would have been present at this food court or maybe because we read too much into all the hype surrounding Portland's newest premier" food hall, but no -- instead it contains only eight bougie and expensive substitutes for the plethora of amazing carts that used to sit there. The atmosphere is alright, except it was pretty crowded and finding a place to sit together for a party of 5 or more was challenging. The selection of food was disappointing for being the "premier" food hall -- if you're coming here for premier burgers, pizza, steak, all-day breakfast, or quirky Portland favorites that put us is culinary rags you'll be disappointed. What was offered, however, was by no means comprehensive but it was enticing -- seafood from Pan Roast, wings from Prime Tap House, dim sum from HK Bistro, Mediterranean from Queen Mama's, Korean Fried Chicken from bb.q chicken, Thai food from ZabPinto, Mexican from Birrieraia La Plaza, and pastries from Tous les Jours. So if you are in the mood for any of these eight options and want to pay a lot of money while struggling to find seating, then this is your place.
