Overpriced, limited options, awful service, and terrible layout. Ordering is infuriating to say the least. Why go through screen after screen in their digital menus when it would take 5 seconds to say "I want X" and prevent a barrage of text messages about your order. But hey, who wants to talk to humans anymore... As others have noted, it's a glorified and awful mall food court. Avoid.
It hasn't even been a week not sure what's not the love about this place! Congratulations!! Downtown's been waiting a long time.... clean bathrooms, free Wi-Fi plenty of options for everybody in a group. Prime Tap House packed Ritz-Carlton bar empty 🥂
Tried 2 places. Bbq Chicken and Pan Roast. The fries from Pan Roast were so burnt they were rock hard. The BBQ Chicken food was ok but nothing spectacular. Prices are high $20+ per dish. Also there was only one water station with limited cups. Couldn’t find napkins, and bus stations are few and far between.
Pan Roast Seafood Combo (shrimp, lobster, crab, clams) with bread from Pan Roast food cart at the brand new Flock Food Hall at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Portland. Very good! Choices at Flock are incredible!
Nice place in Portland downtown area with bunch of great options. Bb.q fried chicken is awesome. Make sure to ask for their signature sauce. We also tried the Thai and the Chinese restaurant, would recommend.
Was expecting a bit more when visiting Flock... It has gotten a lot of attention as the newest Food Hall in PDX. There are a handful of restaurants to choose from (fried chicken, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Southern Seafood, etc.) They have a wine bar (front) and a tap room (back) no full alcohol options. The space itself is pretty compact. Thin narrow hall that tou have to walk through with limited seating options. If you go on a busy day - good luck on finding a spot to sit / dine. Also, if you're lucky enough to find parking in downtown Portland. I stood in line for HK Bistro and tried the street noodles. I did not expect them to be cold nor $16 for a small plate. In looking around at other options it all seemed to be a bit overpriced for self serve and a lack luster dining experience. I think there are better food halls in Portland and this fell short.
Flock Food Hall serves up good fare in generous variety, a common ground where many tastes may dine in peace. It is especially well suited to large companies, when the tally of allergies, preferences, and modern dietary decrees—discovered over these past twenty years—might otherwise turn supper into a council of war. The prices sit comfortably in the realm of fifteen to twenty coins, fair for the choice and speed delivered. The halls are kept clean (aye, even the restrooms, oft the true measure of a place), and for the young ones, a basketball hoop stands ready to burn off excess cheer. Food arrives with commendable haste. Our party sampled from every stall, and not a soul raised complaint—a rare harmony indeed. In sum, a place of ease, order, and satisfaction, where many appetites are well and swiftly pleased.
Nice indoor food court with quite a bit of selection for different cuisine. The Cantonese style bistro's BBQ chicken skewers🍢 is good👍.
Absolutely amazing food court with so many options from fancy dinner to elevated instant ramen this place got everything even a bar. Bathroom are also very clean are built great none of the the gap under the stalls type of build overall great place for you food needs.
This place is a fun indoor food court which has several good options as well as a bar and wine counter. It is great for the colder days of the year. Seating is a bit tight though.
