Friendly crew, good tour announcer. It is a nice harbor to tour with lots to see. I did the 2 hour tour, assuming that a 3 hour tour might wind up stranded on Gilligan's island :) Only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is that the most of the view is cut off if sitting on the deck chairs. This shouldn't bother most people, I have a knee problems that make 2 hours too long to stand.

Family of four including one adult with special needs. We opted for a new experience in San Diego for vacation and booked online for the 2 hour Bay cruise. I listed online seating preferences for my adult son with needs - Captain or tour guide Ray called me personally and promptly to relay information that may be relevant to our situation. The stairs to the top deck are steep and for those with mobility issues something to consider- but our son needed only a supportive family member to aide the way. Once on top the ship, there was ample room and we were able to stretch out and enjoy the views. Of note to possible visitors *The sun is intense - but the sea breeze can be cool - so plan accordingly. * Be sure you allow for parking and drive time to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure for best case scenario. We have been staying on Shelter Island for days, so I wasn’t sure how much I would enjoy the information shared on the cruise. I was thrilled with the wealth of knowledge by our guide! I learned so much! It was a special opportunity and adventure my family will always remember. If you only have time for a 1 hour cruise I don’t think you will be disappointed. * If you do the two hours you dock briefly

This is a great cruise experience that offers a unique perspective of San Diego and the surrounding area. Two hours is sufficient to explore. It's well-organized and enjoyable. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance and visiting on weekdays.

Amazing!!!!!! Lila was the best naturalist and guide. Our volunteer from the ocean connections was great as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our time!

I took my husband for the Father's Day Dinner Cruise with Flagship Cruises on June 21, 2026. We were extremely disappointed with the food. There was no flavor in the food being served, especially the surf and turf duet. There was no sauce for the shrimp, the steak was blend with the blend gravy, all the vegetables were just steamed with no flavoring. The dessert chocolate cake was served cold with no vanilla ice-cream to go with it. It would have been much better if they grilled the vegetables, grilled the shrimp, warmed up the cake, and provided some type of sauce to go with the shrimp.

The cruise itself was good (we rode the patriot jet boat) but one of the staff members was very rude and racist to us while clicking pictures. This is absolutely unacceptable. He gave us no countdown before clicking the picture like everyone else and was rude and condescending. Train your staff better.

I recently organized a dinner cruise for a party of 26 with Flagship Cruises. While many individuals in our group purchased their tickets by calling the company directly, I also made several calls on behalf of my own party of two and a few others. Throughout the process, I spoke with multiple representatives. Some were more personable than others, but Sara truly stood out. No matter when I called, whether it was first thing in the morning or right before closing, Sara was consistently pleasant, patient, and genuinely joyful to speak with. She went above and beyond to make sure our seating arrangements were perfect and even noted that I would be arriving early to decorate our tables so our group could enjoy a personalized touch. Thanks to her professionalism, attention to detail, and kindness, our experience was seamless from start to finish. Sara’s customer service truly elevated the entire planning process. I cannot thank her enough for her warmth and dedication to making our event special. Flagship Cruises is fortunate to have her on their team!

Really cool. We did the 2 hour trip. Not a bad price. Definitely use sunblock or something. The guide was very knowledgeable and fact filled. Supper cool experience.

We went on the Stars & Stripes Spectacular Cruise on the 4th of July with Flagship, and it was absolutely amazing! It was our first time doing this and it definitely won’t be our last—we were visiting from Phoenix for my birthday, and this is now officially an annual tradition. I had no idea food was even included with the ticket, and it was such a great surprise. The buffet had mini burgers, BBQ pulled pork, and sautéed mushrooms that were absolutely delicious. We got in line at 5:30pm to board at 7:30pm and just barely snagged a table for five on the top deck, so definitely arrive early if you want good seats! Every staff member and crew person we encountered was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. The whole night felt seamless and special. And the fireworks? I’ve never been so close to them in my life—it was breathtaking. This experience is worth every single penny and then some. Can’t recommend it enough!

We’ve gone once before and it was great. Our boys couldn’t wait to do it again and it was absolutely awful. Many chairs locked down below. Not enough up on deck. Crammed way too many on like a can of sardines. Got stuck at a table inside in the middle where it was blistering hot and so crammed you could barely breath. Couldn’t see out the windows as people were standing all over the place. People leaving their bags and personal items on window tables then leaving for the top for most for the cruise. Couldn’t get to one of the bathrooms as the bar was so overly crammed you couldn’t get thru the line. Never again. It was super disappointing.
