Lovely new wine bar and restaurant in the River market. We visited on a busy Saturday and had about a 15 minute wait to be seated outside. There are two separate outdoor patios with a combination of umbrellas and awnings. The inside is quite spacious and we could have chosen to sit inside immediately. But why would we want to do that on such a beautiful day! Hostess took our name and texted me when our table was ready. Our waitress was knowledgeable and pleasant, the meatball subs were excellent, and the atmosphere couldn’t be beat. We sat outside with a view of the hubbub outside, and enjoyed watching the streetcars go by. My husband and I feel like these are the best meatballs we have ever had. I asked about bringing a large group for lunch and was told they are open for lunch on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They do take reservations for larger groups. There is free parking during the week in the area where the market is located on weekends.

First time at Enzo and I would definitely go back. Stopped in for Happy Hour on a Wednesday. Started with the red sangria which was good, but not great. Ordered the Spicy Feta Dip. I very much enjoyed it. The fresh vegetables were a nice balance with the pita bread and crunchy bread slices. The feta dip had a nice spiciness the lingered in 5he background. The service was great. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible service—we actually had to walk out. We came here for my daughter’s birthday and the experience was bizarrely disrespectful. After a long wait for water, the server began speaking Spanish to my daughter. When we explained she is Asian and doesn't speak Spanish, he literally laughed in our faces. We still tried to give them a chance and ordered a chocolate berries cheesecake and a lemon donut, but after 30 minutes of being ignored while other tables were served, we’d had enough. I had to wave my empty glass just to get a refill, and the desserts never showed up. We ended up walking out because the service was so non-existent. A total disappointment for a special occasion—we won’t be back.

Had a couple hours left on my parking downtown after checking out of the hotel, so we hopped on the streetcar to come down for a pre-departure beverage. Peroni on tap and a house limoncello sparkle were delightful. I'll be back to try the fare the next time I'm in town.

We have always had a great experience here. While in the busy Rivermarket area, we always seem to get sat fast. Have never had a food miss here, and the drink specials are great.

We stopped here for a weeknight dinner and dined on the patio. We were able to easily secure a same day reservation and appreciated the friendly service and menu recommendations. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and although it was good, I wish it had been served with a side of pasta rather than just the entree. They also don’t serve any bread to the table, which would be a nice touch. I also tried the amaretto cookies, and they were great. Overall a good experience here, we would return!

Enzo is a fantastic spot for dinner in Kansas City’s River Market—elevated yet comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a relaxed evening with great food and conversation. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, striking that ideal balance between upscale and inviting. We tried a variety of dishes and loved every one of them. The bucatini with shrimp was a standout—perfectly cooked pasta with a light, flavorful sauce and tender shrimp that added a fresh, satisfying touch. The rigatoni bolognese was rich and hearty, exactly what you'd hope for in a classic Italian comfort dish. The moussaka brought a flavorful Mediterranean twist to the meal, with layers of perfectly seasoned meat and eggplant baked into a warm, satisfying dish. We also ordered a side of meatballs, and they didn’t disappoint—tender, well-seasoned, and a great addition to the table. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversations without interruption. Enzo is the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy great food, great drinks, and a genuinely welcoming vibe. It’s a gem in the River Market and one we’ll definitely return to. Highly recommend!

Food was great. I got the carbonara with meatballs and the burrata appetizer. The hostess was fantastic but the waitress refused to even look at me. Zero acknowledgment from the time I was seated, she had no issues talking to the rest of my group and she was very nice to them. Just iced me out so it was very intentional.

If you’re in town, this place is a total no-brainer. My wife and I were here for work and happened to walk in. The best decision we made all week! We kept it light with some arancini, lamb meatballs, burrata and drinks, all of which were spot on. Hats off to the kitchen staff! The real star, though, was Trieu behind the bar. The guy is a genuine, all-around great dude with some killer stories. He took care of everything we needed and then some. It’s rare to find a spot that feels this authentic. Way to go to the owners. You’ve got a keeper here!

This place is great. I’ve been a few times and my wife meets a friend quite often to dine here. We took my brother and his wife who were visiting from out of town for KC Restaurant Week brunch. My brother and sister-in-law loved it. Wilson was our server and he was fantastic! Comments below pictures.
