I’ve always had great experiences at Enzo. I tend to order one of two dishes (lasagna or eggplant parmesan) and they are consistently good, so I can’t speak broadly to the rest of the menu. Cocktails are good, atmosphere is great, and the staff is phenomenal. What I most appreciate about Enzo is there is no game playing about their closing time. A few times, I’ve arrived at 9:30pm, asked if it was too late to be seated given their 10pm close time, and was graciously shown to a table and served without grumpiness or frustration. They said, don’t rush, the kitchen closes at 10pm and not before, so take your time to order. This is so unlike most other establishments who turn you away and tell you that the kitchen closes half an hour to 45 minutes before actual close time. Enzo is operating more like Europe, which means close time is equal to kitchen close time. I’ve been so appreciative of their graciousness about this late-night dining that I’m a loyal customer. Wish more KC restaurants would be like this. Not all of us eat earlier.
Had never heard of this place, and came in with an out-of-town group staying at a nearby hotel. Really exceptional Italian! Great Service, cool atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Loved Enzo, the food was fantastic, and drinks were amazing. I went there during happy hour. If you like feta, try the spicy feta dip. It was delicious. It does have a slight spicy but not unbearable. I love mussels and hit the spot. The foccatoca dipped in the sauce, the best part. Highly recommend making a reservation before you go.
Fun afternoon for happy hour on Saturday! Nice big patio, food was great and wine was delicious! Service was good and attentive. Will be back! Appetizers buratta cheese, spicy feta dip, cheesecake and lemon crud donuts! So good!! I’ll be back!!
Great little bistro! Modern, but also warm/cozy vibes in there. We went for restaurant week and loved their tasting menu. The service was absolutely phenomenal. They had live music and it was the perfect evening! The garlic toum with the eggplant fries was amazing and extremely fresh. Pasta was perfect. Will definitely be going back! Also have happy hour from 3-6pm Tuesday-Sunday.
What a delightful experience visiting Enzo's was! Our rather large party of eight was treated with such care and attention. They welcomed our youngest guest, a 1-year-old, with the same charm and attention as the rest of us, and acknowledged the several birthdays we were celebrating with personalized notes. What a treat! We were so glad we put in a reservation at this restaurant!
We only wanted a small plate that evening & got the spicy feta dip & Lamb Kefedes. We ordered 2 regular iced teas. The food was not horrible, but wasn't impressive. At least the couple things we shared. The tea was very good & the atmosphere & service were wonderful. They are in the same price point as Brown & Loe across the street, but with more hours. We enjoyed a nice evening on the patio. Just wish the food was a bit better for the price.
Love where it’s at, absolutely great place to people watch on a beautiful spring day. Loved our fabulous waitress, full of joy and very helpful since it was our first time here. Had calamari, and a meatball for appetizers which were spot on. Main meal, steak and sea bass which both were very bland and plain to the palate, not much seasoning. For dessert we had cheesecake, and Lemon curd donuts which were made and taste of perfection..
Brand new joint in the river market area of Kansas City. Italian/Greek fare. The food was fantastic, the staff works really hard and is super friendly. The owner is even in here making small talk with the customers. She's very interactive. I wish them the best!
Was downtown for a couple of nights and such a pleasant surprise. Very cozy atmosphere, and the service was great. It wasnt that busy and everyone was very friendly. Haven't had a good seafood dish in a while and definitely fit the bill. The drinks were great. Would definitely go again.
